More Froyo

Can someone please give me the newest clockwork version. the SPR recovery just has my phone sitting on "M"

Had the same problem...I could not get SPR to boot. Finally had to do a battery pull to get back into the phone. Ended up using the clockwork install from the OP.

Hey, is the corporate calendar application still on this thing. I actually used it and seems that I can't find it

The corporate calendar is part of the android calendar now. All calendars show up in the same app with different colors and can be turned off at will.

I couldn't get SPR to boot either so I did a battery pull to get back into the phone. I uninstalled rom manager and then reinstalled it. I then flashed CW and the flashed back to SPR. That seemed to do the trick.

This build does seem snappier. Before when I'd exit out of Dolphin Browser, my homescreen would come up and it'd be blank for a few secs. I like Chrometophone, but don't really see a real world application for it.

Maybe I'm just to dense. :)

Since I assume the Froyo has been posted so the developers can get some real world beta use and the fact they reacted very fast to fix some problems in Froyo1 here are my current issues.

1. The OS is really............ slow to boot when the phone has been turned off. This is a bother beause I do have to turn off, not just silence my phone, regularly and the phone boot takes longer then my Netbook running Windows 7.

2. I had the phone lock up when I was filling in a Wordpress web comment on a blog.

3. I noticed the on screen keyboard seems to be a bit slower in responding. I use the type ahead feature and never use the slide open keyboard (keys are to small and awkward).

4. No problems with market place.

5. Overall a much improved OS.

Just installed the latest Froyo. I know it's the latest because my flashlight app is working again.:) Still don't know about Google Voice. Waiting for a response.

If it takes longer to boot up I sure don't see that much difference. Perhaps I think its fast no matter what after using a Blackberry Storm. That thing took several minutes to boot up.

c2p is cool but i agree unless you can send real world files or email to your phone then its just some gimmick. But I think its may be a start to something more...maybe. May be away where you can send market info back and forth, along with data.
