i get what you're saying but the majority of problems are user related- i guarantee that. working techs support and helping people off the clock with problems and you'll find out quickly that it's mostly user error.
it's just easier for you to help someone if they use the program you're familiar with. there's not really a whole lot of differences in them to me. then again i prefer to look at similarities between programs rather than differences since it makes it easier to learn by applying what you already know to a new experience.
that said, i've done 4 installs with cw with no problems. what i like most about cw is not having to rename files to update.zip all the time that way i can do multiple updates without any type of reboot.

blazingwolf : )I disagree with you. ClockWork is working just fine with 2.2. I have seen many people having issues with SPRecovery and they needed to switch to ClockWork to get it working correctly. I understand that you don't like ClockWork but saying that it is causing the majority of issues is just not true.
I am just trying to stop misinformation and have nothing against you or the job you have been doing.
again it's NOT about liking one recovery/flash method over another. It's about using what gives more consistent results. In this case successful installs of 2.2.
So if people have an issue with CW they know to use SPRecovery...
But flashing SPRecovery via CW is posing problems as well.
I don't make these things up lol.
If twirling the device in your hand worked the best I'd tell people to do that.
So don't shoot the messenger and all that good stuff : )
