the only little problem I have with the latest FROYO is that when I hit the problem button in titanium backup it tells me to install busybox...I hit ok...it downloads it.....but then when I go to metomorph app and it runs it's checks on the sytem it says I do not have busybox installed ????

oh well...can't win em all!

Put froyo on last night..was running about 1100 kernel...I been running holy blue...this Froyo is faster

Jroc which buuild are you using of Froyo that Mototorch works, mine has 33333 test-keys as the end of the build name.

Cereal Killer and others agreed the test keys mean nothing as far as builds. As long as u are running an FRF57 build, it should work. So dont pay attention to the keys.

mine is 2.2 FRFxx 49593 test-keys. That is FRF57 i take it?

I didnt see this answered yet when I posted before. How do I set the phone to vibrate only? Its not in the sounds options. Just vibrate with volume on, never or always. I don't want always cause I dont want it when I sleep. and at work I want vibrate with no sound. and when you use the rocker to lower volume it goes from the lowest volume to silent with no vibrate option. I had to install a widget to ge it to vibrate only. Am I missing something?

Has anyone tried buying anything off the Market under this version with the market patch? I can tell it to purchase, I get the email, but the app won't authorize so it can download. But free stuff downloads instantly while hanging on what I am trying to buy.

I just bought Homerun Battle 3d it did seem to take a little longer than normal but im about to play it right now! all went ok!!!

Good to know it works. Wish my SystemPanel purchase would actually download.

Need to get Root Explorer from the market. Will make life easy for you. With it you can move files into and from system without terminal or adb commands.

I just purchased systempanel myself (Thanks for letting me know it was out of beta), and it downloaded fine.

Is it stuck at authorizing for you? Also try opening the Gtalk application, go back to market and then redownload.

Cleared Market Data/Cache. Opened Gtalk. Opened Market. Picked install. Stalls on "Authorizing Purchase...". And while stalled, I can download other free apps with no issue. Very odd to say the least.

This might sound odd, but your bank might have blocked purchases from google checkout. (This happened to me a couple of times until i made a very angry call to my bank). I had the same problem, all paid apps would be stuck at "authorizing" even though I got a confirmation e-mail.

No problem. But root explorer is a helpful tool either way. If you don't want to pay there is a free program that let's you do the same thing from you pc when you mount your phone. Can't remeber the name though.

Here's my update on the update to Foyo:

Update using SPrecovery. Did not have data checked. All my apps and widgets were there after boot finished. I did have to reinstall the kernel.

I then updated the theme with Bgill's smoked theme. I did not use his newest update (didn't look to see if he updated it) so it themed the rom but the market did not download any new apps. All my apps that were installed were showing though. I then found the updated theme and installed and now I can download apps again.

Bluetooth dialing does work. I am using a Motorola Motorokr T505 and it was smiling and dialing for me with no problem what so ever.

Chrome to Phone works too!!! I haven't really played with it that much but it was downloading url links to the notifications bar on the phone. I'll see what it does with maps later on.

I did try to install maps via the app store but I'm still getting "could not install sucessfully".

Boy this is really cool...I haven't used the Incredible since Friday. The Droid is where it's at baby!!

couldnt you just use the busy box from titanium backup. If im off my bad. But when I neeeded MM or NM before I would just flash the busybox from titanium. CLich the help button and it installs it for you DM style
