So i have installed nandroid backup and successfully got it loaded. I seem to have the su icon but when i try to overclock with setcpu it gives the error message.
Could not read setcpu.txt. Reverting to defaults. Is your SD card unmounted from the PC?
And I have tried to download a few of the different overclocked kernels and none seemed to make it any different. The max speed i can set is still 528 mhz.
If only there was an easier way to tell which version was FRF57, since there is more than one out. It doesnt even tell u after u install it. u just have to make sure u check the version where ever u get it from.
The first version, MotoTorch didnt work. in FRF57, they both do.
There is only one file outl....All files are the same..unless modded. I personally dont see a reason for a custom rom on Froyo..just overclock ti and add wifi tether and you are good to go
Ok, explain how come chrome-to-phone doesnt work on the one yall orig posted Sat, but it works on the latest one yall posted now "More Froyo".....
Wouldnt that be 2 diferrent files? The orig one from Sat and the latest one here? After u install them both, it doesnt say which is which. It says FRFXX....
And speaking of chrome to phone: Someone asked how if this is just fluff, no real use for it. Well....I downloaded the latest baseband by sending the link to my phone. It downloaded straight to my phone. File Manager, change to update.zip
Having trouble getting clean black to load. I had it loaded earlier today and had some issues, so I reflashed the latest rom and ran the rest of the day with that. Tried to load the new updated clean black and it has failed twice. As many times as I have flashed, just want to make sure I did it right. I dloaded it to my sd card, renamed it update.zip and did an install after allowing the install. Both times it aborted on me. Did I screwup?
Odd bug with the power widget if you enable/disable GPS in settings it won't reflect in the power widget. WiFi updates correctly on the widget, not sure if BT and the others toggles work correctly.
Oh and I hate the red eye, wish we had just "android" like the previous release.
Didn't have any issue with my one paid app, but I had an issue purchasing another app so I used the "fix", still saying authorizing purchase. We'll see if it works or not.
