So I installed the leak in the OP of this thread this morning, and my build still says "FRFxx" with the test keys as 33333.

Is it supposed to say FRF57?

THIS is what I'm talking about. The one from Sat and this one, after u install then they BOTH say FRFxx. How would one know which is which? They check the version from the site they download it from. If u dont, u wouldnt know what u were running.

Which wifi tethering app are you using. Wifi tetherby lemons work for me.

When I use the Wireless Tether by Lemons, the software runs and my computer can connect to the phone, but the computer still reports no internet connection (like when you connect to a router, but the router isn't connected to the web physically).

Barnacle Wifi Tether is working for me. All I had to do was wait for the pop up to give it SU permissions and everything worked.

When I run Barnacle, I don't even see the SSID appear on my computer.

It's entirely possible that I'm just doing something wrong with these apps, I haven't done this before.

Well, what do you know.......the one I have says FRF57 in the About Screen....I didnt get it from here last night, I got it from somewhere else.

See......and my keys said 38829.....

This bugged me too, because after I installed FRF57, I noticed after restoring my apps that it changed to FRFxx. I just got done reflashing (yet again) and it appears that if you install the market fix, it changes the version back to FRFxx.

I downloaded from Droid-Life and didn't need to run the market fix. The market works just fine for me. I can download anything and it is very fast.

Hmmmm..... Definitely confusing. Seems that the build offered on this OP is the same as the one offered on MyDroidWorld, but different from the one offered on Droid Life: A Motorola Droid Blog

And before someone else says they all the same, go back and install the one from Sat, try chrome to phone; then install this one and see if it works.

What market fix is everybody talking about. My market runs normal. I don't have an issue with it. Maybe its the build. It seems to have a little higher number than the others.
