Oh this is on my second Moto droid as You can see this one is theme'd some. I dont get it.
My other one with all my tweaks and all still runs faster.

Wow, I only get 645. Didn't reboot though.

Droid root helper is needed to install busybox my friend!...

You can install busybox from Titanium Backup. Just click on the "Problems?" button and it will lead you to the latest busybox.

Droid root helper has not been updated since 2.0.1.. he cancelled premium months ago saying that exact thing.. just install titanium free and it will install it for you

The applications that i already have arw not showing in the marked, not even after running the market update fix.

What about the sdcard bug? I cannot import the contacts. Is looking for an svcard and not sdcar.

I cannot download files from the web like zip files, it says files not supported.

Froyo is like windows vista so far, is too new to experimement with it...
sounds like you need an better veison of Froyo. GO to www.blackdroidmod.com and D/L UD Froyo Alpha. Busybox built in and UD Settings app. I have been running this since day one and have had no issues at all. UD rocks!!

Much slower :(
look at my sig to see my usual speeds with the original release and about the same with BBv2.1

Not to mention I didn't even theme this one yet. Most say themes slow it down, I never noticed that myself.

Either you have apps running in the backround or something else is going on. the current Froyo build (frf57) is much quicker then the older one released over the weekend that is a given. At 1.2Ghz you should not be seeing anything under 1600. On mine running a 1.2 averages 1660+, I've gotten over 1700 on it but I did make sure nothing that isn't needed i was running in the backround.

Running the second Froyo leak...I ran the market update.zip fix which gave me my apps back but the Marketplace is slow to the point of being unusable...

Very frustrating, and it's been almost 24 hours since installing. I've also tried clearing the cache but I have never had this problem before.

Any ideas?

Real Dumb Question, Froyo and SetCPU

Can anyone tell me how I can make sure SetCPU is running? I've moved it to my SD card and I don't know what to look at.

Go easy on me, SetCPU has changed a bit since I first saw it.

Quick Q - someone please help :)

Yep, I'm an OLD neewbie...

I loaded the latest build of Froyo right after it came out (via ASTRO, not as an UPDATE.zip) and just noticed today that my setCPU is topped out at 600. Do I need to go in and add the 1.25g file again on top of the new build??
Thanks for helping an old dense fart out.

Is there anything I can do to fix this issue with it saying activity launcher not responding and then it force closes and one more question running at 1.0 what is a safe temp

Just for ref, I benchmarked the second release of froyo, no OC'ing, just the kernl that came with it, first time got a 743, this last time and 858...

I'll answer your question if you answer mine. You do have to have the higher voltage kernel installed. Now tell me how you know it's running and where you see 600.

Yes sir, mr. Hook

When I look at the setCPU widget I see 600 and when I tap it and go to set it it shows 600 and the slider only goes to 600.
Does this help?

Well, I'm not running the widget. And from what I understand where I have it installed I can't run the widget. OK, I'll take a look thanks.
