Game play is vastly improved...specifically in Papijump where formerly every 3rd or 4th jump the screen would freeze for a second, now game play is seemless.

Go to your screen settings, uncheck Auto brightness (or change the setting), then set it again to what ever you want and all will be normal again.

Seems that after the upgrade, my backlight for the keyboard and buttons doesnt work. I tried rebooting, not effect... is there a setting somewhere that needs to be adjusted? can't imagine trying to type in low light situations without a backlight!

I thought I read this earlier in the thread. You have to reboot again. I think I read that fixed this problem.

I think I figured it out.... it only turns on the backlight in low light situations if the sensors/diming is set to auto. I assume if you use the power widget to override that setting, the icons will stay lit regardless?

I did that, and I checked off All Other Contacts. It gave me back all of my other ones, plus some random ones that I didn't even know about. I deleted them.

It wouldn't let me delete some of the contacts, so I synced up with Gmail again, and it took a while, but it let me delete them.

Instead of 444 contacts, I started seeing only 44.

I went into groups and unchecked "all contacts" and only checked one of my groups and hit done.

Then I went back in and rechecked my contacts and now it shows all of them.

Overall, the update is great, but is anyone else having wifi issues? I am here at work (the only network I can test right now) and ever since the update, it is not connecting to our Cisco WPA network. I tried deleting and re-adding it, and it still tries to connect, but promptly disconnects. I can diagnose it more when I get home, but this is an issue for me right now. Are there any apps that give you more connection detail than the system? Thanks!

Odd,

my wifi is actually better since the update.

Wait, so if I bought the phone before the update comes out, but don't activate it until around Christmas time, the OTA update is going to take care of itself right?

Update seems very snappy and fast all around. However, the browser took a major hit in performance. I used to love showing off how smooth it was, but now when scrolling around it's VERY clunky and jittery.

Since my manual update to 2.0.1

my locked screen looks a little weird.

Top line justified right, Clock and date justified left

Looks a little like this:

Out of curiosity, how did you manage to apply the manual download and not see the hundreds of posts about the new lock screen?

It will still need to be updated.... why wait to activate it?
Nothing will get deleted.anyway.

well since my manual update....my Droid seems a little quicker and i actually like the new lockscreen.....other than that no complaints at all

update seems great to me my browser is as fast as ever but it does act funny while charging....anyone else have that problem?
