Sounds good, did you guys upgrade over the phone/store/ or online? Did you request anything in order to keep it the same?

I upgraded at the store, one person said the discount would not stay but so far after two months it has stayed.

I upgraded at the store. I just saidI want to renew my current contract for 2 more years and they sid "OK". My bill hasn't changed.

I didn't upgrage on contract. I got a used phone but I asked about it specifically and the rep on the phone said it would stay

Just wondering has anyone with this unlimited plan upgraded to an Iphone4 or a Thunderbolt? Were you able to keep the plan at the same price?

Upgraded two lines from Androids (Droid 1 and Droid 2 Global) to Thunderbolts and the discount stayed.

Ditto for me (upgraded one Droid to TB). I was hoping to upgrade my second Droid to a Bionic, but now I'm re-thinking. If HTC/VZ upgrade the TB to GB before another 4G phone comes out that catches my eye, I may just get a second TB.

I upgraded over the phone. The rep said she would add a note to my account ststing that the discount was to remain in effect, just in case the bill was screwed up but everything worked without hours of telephone hassel.

I just upgraded my D1 to a Thunderbolt online and my plan is exactly as it was before, no changes at all.

Nia - I have a 20% discount from work on my plan as well as this promo. You can only have one discount for each part of your bill. So you will get this promo on your data plan and the 22% off on your minutes and such. A second line is not normally covered by the company discount though depending on your plan.

Just make sure to call them to put this in place so that they do not merely replace the promo with the 22% off...

No, but you can apply a student discount to your family plan by signing up through Verizon.

I currently have this special plan and wanted to upgrade my lines to a Droid Charge and my GF's line to an LG Revolution, since both those phones are 4G will I be able to keep this special plan at the same price?
