When I called in and got this they told me that the F&F plan was part of the promotion. So with the 450 plan I got it...
Never got an e-mail or a mailer, so I've been told by no less than 5 different reps that I'm not eligible for the promotion (even though I have a $350 / mo bill and have been a customer for 15 yrs). :icon_evil: Are people who are succeeding calling *611 or the 877 number that is in the ad? Any other ideas on getting this, other than to keep rep surfing?

Ok, in an earlier post, I saw that someone was talking about using Friends and Family on the 450 minute plan and having to call in to get it added.
Is that free? I may have missed an earlier deal with F&F, but I thought you had to have 700 minutes. I'd love to get it added to my current plan (i got in on this deal as well.)
I did get F&F 5 added to my 450 minutes when I called in. As far as I'm aware it's free.

Hmm, thats odd, the guy told me that was only for the 900min plan.
Guess I'll have to call a few more times lol.
Just in case you run into this issue -
I had a Droid 1 and the Wife an LG Dare, we got on this plan and both phones showed the discount. However when I upgraded the wifes phone to a Droid last night, she lost the discounts and calling Verizon they said I am not on the plan and the cost is 171.00 per month. I called back to the 877 number and talked to them, they said no problem, they know I'm on the plan and added the new phone back on as it been removed during the change out.
So, verify if you have a situation like mine and upgrade phones after you are on the plan. Just call back if it does not look right and they will correct it.
