New X orders now will not ship until the 18th.. Yeah right

So I ordered from the store (Philly area) on Tues 8/17 Anyone think it will arrive tomorrow? Maybe if I keep my fingers crossed all night? Even though they said by the 30th.

I ordered my phone on the 16th, which sucks after reading through all of this. I'm expecting about a 10-14 days wait. But I was wondering if anyone has info on where the phone distribution centers are? Most of the people that have posted are in the mid west and east coast. Is their anyone from the west coast like Washington that has received their X? Thanks!

Damn...another disappointing morning wake up email check. Nothing from VZW and FedEx website shows no shipments bound for my zip code.

This is worse than when I was like 22-23 waiting to see if the hottie from the bar would call me back!

Ordered online with early upgrade on 8/13 pm EDT. Have called a couple of times and the last time was told expected shipping is 8/31. I had the option of getting a Droid2 but really wanted to replace my D1 with X so I now I have to pay the price both literally and figuratively of a back ordered device. The good news is I got the 2.2 upgrade yesterday and so far it is "more snappy" and a little "prettier".

Yep. I've called 3 times. The last time the guy said it will *probably* ship by 8/25 which will be 17 days after I ordered.

Just wanted to check in on this thread. Ordered 8/5 nothing yet, no info, nothing.

I called VZW yesterday and let them know I was pissed especially since people who ordered after me were getting their phones. I am going to honor the original ship by date I was told which is 8/23 this monday. If I do not get it shipped by then... not to sound like a huge douche I am going to go ape sh*t until I get some $$$ back on this for the money they are earning holding my money!

Did they feed you that same line about how they can't ship out of order and that everyone is lying?

Pretty much.. they were all like wow that's strange it should not happen. I was like yea I know it should not happen.. technically though I have no right to be pissed until the 23rd really. Yesterday the lady from 611 told me that mine would ship by the 25th UNLESS I was notified that it would be pushed back. I laughed and said, so it will ship by the 25th! If I don't have a shipping notification or some sort of knowledge that it has shipped by this coming Wednesday VZW will start to give me some cash back on this phone.

Also...has ANYONE in OHIO gotten a droid X that has ordered from 8/5 to 8/10?????
