The FedEX guy just left. Was supposed to be delivered 23rd but got it today instead.

I would be pretty upset if I had ordered on the 5th as well and heard nothing yet.

I hope the FedEX guy shows up at everyones home today with a nice suprise motdroidvert.

So after emailing Verizon Wireless customer service yesterday, I finally got a response today from them.

My phone was shipped yesterday, for delivery Monday the 23rd by 7pm. So looks like I didn't get the overnight shipping as promised over the phone lol. But oh well. Guess I should be happy I'm getting my phone (ordered the 9th by phone btw).

P.S. I ordered a docking station, which was overnighted to me and delivered yesterday. And I have also received my silicone cases I ordered, as well as my screen protector. So I have a bunch of accessories, but no phone to use them with lol

Just got off the phone with CS, I ordered the phone on August 11th, and as I was talking to the CSR she goes "well hold on, I can give you the shipping information really fast if you would like" I then freaked out thinking that it had shipped, then she comes back and goes, "oh, im sorry, it is still on hold, but the good news is that its scheduled to ship no later than the 26th of August..." Does anyone know if they ship on saturdays.....

Does Fed Ex not deliver on Saturday? I thought they did but my 2 day shipping says it will come on Monday.

From my understanding here's what FedEx does for two-day shipping:

Monday–Friday, with Saturday pickup and delivery available in many areas for an additional charge.

In other words VZW ain't paying the additional charge and I assumed you didn't either. Mine is in transit today as well and will arrive Monday they say. Looks like we're going another droid-less weekend buddy.

Unless it ships today which I highly doubt then possibly. Most of these are going over overnight some people however are getting 2nd day.

So I ordered from the store (Philly area) on Tues 8/17 Anyone think it will arrive tomorrow? Maybe if I keep my fingers crossed all night? Even though they said by the 30th.

No offense, but I hope not. I'll really be ticked if folks that ordered their phones 10 days after me receive their phones before I do.

Day 13 of waiting. Still Droidless. Suppose I will stay that way all weekend. That stinks!

So far it looks like I will get it on or after the quoted ship by date "25th" or if I'm lucky a day or two early. The only people I have noticed that received their phones faster are the replacement orders (people who's first DX was defective).

I have a feeling some people have posted they received their phones earlier just to piss others off. I'm pretty sure I saw one person say they received their phone in one forum but recently post they are still waiting.

Lastly, anyone that ordered with a ship date of 8/30 or 8/31 (forget which) may be disappointed since I noticed Verizon's site kept moving the ship date out into September but did not update the picture that showed 8/31 (looks to be fixed now). I noticed a few days ago that the ship date was 9/6 but the photo showed 8/31.
