New X orders now will not ship until the 18th.. Yeah right

Ordered mine on the 6th through CS. Was told I was going to get it by the 9th which I knew i wasn't, but when I hear about people ordering after me by awhile and receiving theirs it really makes me mad. I just went to the store yesterday and ordered the extended battery and I'm going to get that before I even get the phone. Two check marks in the bad column for Verizon. One for prices and this f upped situation.

I am giving up hope and giving up calling. I have now realized that I am NOT getting the phone early. It better ship by the 25th like they said, and I better have it by next Friday the 27th.

I ordered on the 10th and have not heard a word from fed ex, verizon or anyone. When I call it is the same 25th ship by date story. I don't know why I held out hope that it would magically come today while I was gone all day....and of course I came home and my note for FedEx was still taped to the door untouched.

I am not upset that it is not coming early. I see people telling us to stop complaining. I am not complaining that it isn't early, I'm complaining about the total lack of TRUTH from VZW. Don't f-ing tell me that it is about when you order and not where you live.

We have all see that order date doesn't matter. 5th, 10th and 13th...doesn't matter. What DOES matter is East Coast, Midwest and West Coast. Those are the three breakdowns and that is BULL ****. Ship my phone from whatever place has it in stock based on WHEN I ordered it and WHEN you took my payment. Two WEEKS + with my $150 pisses me off...How about I try not paying them for a couple months ($150 worth).

THAT is my frustration and I'm sure is most of yours as well. (Done with my Rant.)

If they're going to make us wait for shipping there should at least be a way to get the rebate. AFAIK we have to wait for it to arrive before we can even request our rebate card. Those things take long enough without having to wait longer.

Well, well, miracles do happen. I just got my tracking info. I ordered on 8/7 and it should be delivered to me here in Connecticut by 8/24, one whole day before the scheduled ship date. Strangely, it's coming all the way from California. The moral of the story is that there is a severe back log of these phones so expect to wait pretty close to your official expected ship day to receive your phone.dancedroid

I get to enjoy 4 more days of waiting in addition to the 14 already endured.

i got my notice a few moments ago that my phone has finally shipped, I waited a total of 14 days which seems within the normal range of people on here

The phone also shipped form Ontario CA

I live in San Diego and will have the phone Tuesday

The phones are probably made in China, so I guess it makes sense that they're shipping from Cali.

Heh, yea, just got the notification about my X shipping too (and this one can go back to it's owner... when they get back into the country). Ordered 8/8, shipping from Ontario, CA to NV. Should be here by 3pm on monday, luckily I'm unemployed! (Yay, 14.3% unemployment rate)

Just got off the phone. She said it was shipped today with an order date of the 6th. She insisted it was the phone and not the extended battery that I ordered yesterday yet she didn't see that as being shipped. I'm not getting my hopes up until I have phone in hand.

Just got off the phone with Tiger Direct. I was ready to cancel my order since the ship date went from 5-7 days (a week ago), then 1-2 weeks, now 2-3 weeks. He checked the tracking number of the shipment they have coming in and it is due in for a Saturday shipment tomorrow. Yes - Saturday. It seems Motorola paid the extra shipping costs as they are a little worried about PR. (I did confirm this with a friend who works at Motorola - even he can't get me a phone). This should let Tiger process and ship by Monday or Tuesday of next week.

I told him if I didn't see an update on my order status by Wednesday, I would cancel and go elsewhere. If I am going to have to wait I might as well save another $30 to spend on accessories. Tiger was $179 with contract extension while other places like walmart.com is $149.

We'll see if I just got another hook set from customer service or if there is any truth to the matter.

I don't trust anything from Tiger Direct. I've heard too many horror stories of people getting the wrong item, no item, the correct box with the wrong item inside. Even one where the guy got the right box for his TV, but inside was an old beat up 80's TV.

I just got my tracking # today as well... its the only thing being shipped from VZW. The order shows it weighs 2 pounds, if you look at the order through Fedex and weighs that much its probly your phone...

Have bought over 300 items from Tiger Direct over the years without a single problem. It may depend on location. Since I am in the mid-west, 90% of my items ship from the Chicago warehouse - which hasn't had any hick-ups. Sorry your experience (or what you witnessed/heard) has been different.

That said, I have never ordered cell phones from them. Plenty of computers and home electronics, but no cell phones. I'll wait and see if they come through - instead of being disgruntled at this point.

Ordered on August 7th around 4:00 PM over the phone(told the phone would arrive by the 10th)...On the 10th was told the 25th.

This morning CS told me the 25th again, and then tonight I have my shipping confirmation. I live in New York and the phone was picked up in California by Fedex...expected delivery is Tuesday the 24th.
