My fiance and I also ordered the 7th and got our shipping numbers today (after we talked to cs and they said it was shipped, we asked them to email us our shipping number since we hadn't been emailed yet) and ours are expected Monday. Live in georgia and its shipping from California as well. Finally!

I told him if I didn't see an update on my order status by Wednesday, I would cancel and go elsewhere. If I am going to have to wait I might as well save another $30 to spend on accessories. Tiger was $179 with contract extension while other places like walmart.com is $149.

you are luckier than I . . . the cheapest with the early upgrade that I have found has been $149 - unless I am missing something (which is very possible).

Finally got my shipping notification yesterday!!!

Ordered: August 7 on the phone
Shipped: 11:30am PDT, August 20
Notification: 1:50pm CDT, August 20
Received: not yet

Here's the crazy thing. I've seen posts stating that folks' phones are shipping from Memphis, Dallas, and somewhere in Pennsylvania. I'm in Alabama, and my phone shipped from Ontario, CA. So, it seems that Verizon is not shipping on a geographical basis at all. Whichever shipping facility gets phones in when you get to the top of the list, that's where your phone ships from. That's a good thing, I guess. Now, I get to watch my phone cross the US on the FedEx tracking page.

Storys of orders placed later than ours that are being delivered sooner are whats so aggravating. Im sick of watching my inbox saying "0 unread" messages!!!

100% agree....I really hoped to have it by now after seeing just how many people got there X in 7-12 days. (Today is day 12 with no sign of it even been shipped). I am playing a new golf course tomorrow and I really wanted to try the skydroid app for GPS yardages. Would have been sweet. :icon_eek:

So I called vzw this morning to check on shipping update...and of course nothing, and I aggreed to take the customer satisfaction survey. When the automated system called back I let them know how I felt about the situation. Maybe the will call me back with some sort of peace offering to keep me happy. I am a long vzw customer that has three phones on my contract with a bill of about $240 a month (2 smart phones)!!

I'm just outside Chicago as well in Munster and also ordered on the 10th. No confirmation as yet.
