I REALLY REALLY need the headphone jack fix that the leaked PDF claims is fixed in 2.1. I plug the phone into my aux jack in the car to listen to music on the way to work. I get to work, get a call at my desk, and the earpiece speaker won't turn on. Speakerphone works. Wired headset works. I need to reboot to get the earpiece working. This happens about 1/3 of the time.

If they're not going to release 2.1, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, please backport that fix and release it.

In the meantime, get the AudioToggle app from the market which will fix the earpiece audio without rebooting.

LOL... I know what you mean... It's addicting... Going through ALL these threads just hoping to read SOMETHING intelligent, but always getting disappointed... It's like crack, we can't stop since we had that first little rock back when the first post of 2.1 came out...

I sure hope the 2.1 update that we may get in the not so near future includes the fix on the Wifi issue....so many threads about it and so many different fix's...... so confusing.... It's amazing how my "other" product just works on all wifi points where ever I go but the Droid Doesn't......If you have a certain security set up on your router the droid falls way short, this much technology and it should work as simple as that i thing!!!!! C'mon Verison.....or Motorola.......Or the nimrod trying to make the 2.1 work.......And Yes, I do love my droid, Use it everyday, thats why it is important to have the Wifi actually work.
