Regulator, are you using another computer? 5 words before NOTHING ELSE you say " rename. It already says update. PHONE ONLY UPDATES

The rename is where you have to rename the file as update and make sure its in the root of your SD card. If your getting that error then you either 1. didnt rename it 2. didnt put it in the right spot. Its really not that hard man

Hmmm. Not to be an a** or anything but why do people keep posting that they have not received the the OTA. As if it has any significance to anything at all.

???Screwed over? Ha! You should be gratefull verizon is even pushing out software updates instead of making you buy a new phone.

Wait, faster as in it installs faster or faster as in it runs faster once it's installed?

I was going to say "faster in that you don't have to wait for it" but since using the larger update file usually ends in having less lag on the phone when you're done I'll say the "faster once it's installed" as well.

12:06am here in SoCal and still not OTA update. I've tried numerous times to do a manual update but I always get the error saying signature cannot be verified.

My phone was rooted at one point, but its fully unrooted. I have checked and double checked that I'm renaming it properly.

I hope my OTA comes soon... :icon_evil:

I flashed back to 2.0.1 about 2 hours ago, was unable to activate (common late some nights with Verizon), was just able to activate, and here comes the update.

edit: so i'll be going from 2.0.1 stock to the 2.2 OTA update... hmm!
