before I flash I ahve a quick question... coming from 1.5 and doing as OP states... Do I need to load the file into the XBIN like spoken about on rootzwiki page 326??? or is everything good to go out of the box? I imagine it is as he says so in the OP. but thought I would ask.

Did a battery calibration last night and battery life is amazing right now. Only dropped 3% in about 3 hours with light usage. Ill post again when battery dies.

Sorry for the stupid question but how did you do a battery calibration? I'm having battery drain with 1.5.

I'll upgrade to 1.7 when I can figure out wtf how to do this script thing in the terminal? Do you have to flash to 1.6 first? Sorry if this info is somewhere but it wasn't apparent reading the thread. :icon_eek:

You calibrate battery stats by wiping in recovery menu I believe advanced.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones as I had no problem with running the script. You don't need to flash 1.6 if you're going to flash 1.7 because 1.7 is an updated version of 1.6. If you are coming from a version 1.5 or earlier you need to wipe it all like the op says, data includes.

Be sure to charge to 100% before erasing battery stats. And only flash one zip at a time while in recovery.

okay perhaps I've missed the obvious settings menu to take off the power control widget fro the notification bar??...or must I remove it manually via decompiling?

That's alright...stripped it manually from SystemUI...but I would've thought that there would've been a settings toggle for this??, not everyone likes it on the noti pulldown

<br><br>Anyone know why this is failing? Won't backup, unthrottle seems to work, but it all fails. This is with the updated bionic.sh<br>

Then when I go to check the mods, a lot of it seems to be not on according to the output:

nosit-1... try re-installing the rom... did you before the original install delete the previous unthrottled files from your phone as told to do so in the OP??? maybe that is your issue.

ok two questions....im not a noob but i am to this so bare with me but what actually does powerboost really do? i mean can the phone be faster i dont really know and it seems to be some hassel for what outcome??

another question what does the 3XP3RIENC3 ADD-ON really do?...i want to flash the red ninja theme 1.7 but im not sure if i should flash the add on first n see what it is then the theme or the theme n forget the add on or the theme then the add on lol sooooo cunfuzzled

About 2 hours of psxoid. Lte on. Gpstest and maps for 2 hours. And plenty of texting/random browsing.

ok so just to get this straight.....

in order to go from 1.5 to 1.7 you have to do a full wipe just like what's in the youtube video. Somehow when I tried to upgrade last time, it wiped where I had the ROM and I ended up bricking my phone. So I'm just making sure i understand how to upgrade this time because obviously I did something wrong last time.

Now I'm having a problem where it says it's fully charged at 95%.....

I have been watching my battery drain by the minute. I LOVE the ROM, have been flashing since the first version but this is ridiculous...I must have done something wrong. I have been reading on every forum I could find and trying battery callibration (extended and stock) since Sunday with no luck. I am a noob...is it possible to do a factory reset and start over??

Is great other than... battery drain and
I wish we could get 4 g switch on the toggle notifications instead of flip...
Great rom also i remove all unthrttole files and folders but i get a error up on running 1and 5

Everyone on here has NEVER answered the question about powerboost. I find this pretty frustrating, due to the fact that there are MANY wuestions about it.

If any one knows exactly what it is,what it does, and why we should use it, please explain in great detail. Then, sticky the answer. I know I'd greatly appreciate it,along with anyone else that has asked.
