[ROM] ApeX 1.3.1 for Droid X - Running, running, as fast as it can (12/16/10)

New ROM is awesome! I know this has been asked before but cant seem to find it on all these pages.
I am getting to text message notifications cause i have a "messaging" and a "text messaging" how do I disable one of them?
Thanks for your help and I will also be donating something ...love this ROM!!!

I am getting two text messages as well. Oh and to answer your question, which btw didn't fix the issue go to all the sms services on your phone and turn off the notifications in settings. Of course keep the notifications on in the one u want to use lol but im still getting 2 messages, in the same sms app, every time someone sends one!

Use your scroll bar (typically located on the right of the screen - over there --->) and move up three posts. There will be a post by someone called "Fabolous". He appears (correct me if I'm wrong) to have answered this.

I am not able to use the Jrummy OC app, to set on boot. I can with the oc script, but it doesn't seem to have profiles. I would like to just use the Jrummy app, but unless it applys on boot, it doesn't seem to allow the profiles to work. Is there a way to remove the OC script?

Or is there an option for a delay after boot to apply oc in the oc script? I didn't see. There is in jrummy app, and it may be preventing the problems I am having. When I use the script it seems to be less stable. I don't even think that possible since it seems to be using the same stuff, just different UI. The same settings I was using before now seem to be causing lock-ups. LV @ 1.25 ghz, ondemand.

Love the micobe wallpaper! Great work on this and thanks again. Finally was able to make a donation.

Vlingo also has a large keyboard that I have really been enjoying. Its a speech recognition app, but they provide a keyboard that I can switch to in addition to the smaller GB keyboard, or swype. It seems to work better in portrait, while the GB KB is nice in landscape. It also works with their speech recognition over bluetooth through keyboard. And its quick and accurate.

The time in the upper right corner is blindingly white, can I change this?

Settings/sound/volume - That shade of green is not my favorite, can I change this?

You can install different themes per the first post that will change the green value.

Once upon a time Fab posted a file that will completely remove the clock from the notification bar. Changing the color of the clock is a bit more complicated.

It worked for me. I just DL it through ROM mangr and applied it. Worked great. Its in Fabs folder at the bottom. There is a thread floating around with it in the title I think too.

Nice! I'd love to get rid of the clock on the notification bar. No need to have it up there taking up space when I'm always late anyways! dancedroid

Hey Fab, in the AOSP messaging, if you click menu to compose a message the icon for compose is the sound off icon.

Agreed, the only explanation I can think of is his got approved. I still find it strange that with no separate fund set up it got locked. What's wrong with people suggesting a donation?
