Just go to settings in the stock messaging app and un-check notifications, then it will cease bothering you.

Just installed Apex 1.3.1 two days ago. Now the weather gadget is not able to load when using HDMI Multimedia Desktop Charger. The icon is normally on the bottom left of the screen when on the base. HELP!

Another issue. Angry birds will not install. It will download but the install fails error unknown -18. Please help. Someone had this trouble somewhere but there wasn't an answer.

I have both versions of angry birds working fine. Sorry I don't have an answer - mine just dl'ed and installed fine so I am not sure.

But when I came from 1.3 to 1.3.1 I wiped data and cache just to be sure.

First off, I love this ROM!!!! My battery lasts forever!!!!

But I am having an issue with downloading some apps/games. One's that I could DL before I am now receiving error-18 msg's upon installs.

Any ideas what I can do?

I'm stupid, I read pages back and didn't realize that this issue is mentioned directly above, sorry. But I also wiped data and cache prior to installation.

Thanks Fab! I'm going to have to wait until I can get my micro reader from home and erase the file the non-adb way. I'm not too familiar with adb shells.

When I flashed this ROM, I used bootstrap recovery. Can someone tell me the proper way to revert back to stock/rooted.

I would just like to say thank you to Fabolous on an amazing rom. I am a noob but have enjoyed rooting my x and learning more about what my phone can actually do. So far I haven't had too many problems after learning how to clock my DX. Only thing that really bothers me is the lag on opening the camera. This was obviously an issue with the original phone OS but I would love to see that fixed in the future Apex as well as the new cut and paste on the upcoming gingerbread OS. Thank you again and keep up the amazing work.

I too would like to say thanks to whomever created the Apex ROM. It's been the best for me to date....the battery life is incrediable, and the it meets all of my needs. Theres still things that I haven't learned yet that are available...such as over clocking etc. It's great -- and again THANKS.
