Can someone please help with my scripting question???

I've read FabWiki about the scripting with this ROM. I am now left with two questions....

1) Since I'm using Handcent, I have typed the following into Terminal Emulator:

su
messaging -mot

Can I remove the -aosp with a rm command????? How would I type that????

2) Since I am using Handcent, can I safely remove both aosp and mot without any technical issues down the road, such as with MMS or SMS'???


Please advise????

No, I believe the blur messaging client must stay on the phone. I wouldn't bother trying to remove the other.

Handcent relies on a "native" SMS app to send MMS messages, so it would not be a good idea to delete all of the messaging apps, or else you wont be able to send MMS.

so my default area code when making calls has changed. I think it was from installing this rom, instead of 239 it now dials 617

any ideas on how to change this back to my correct area code?

I dont know if it changed my area code but it blew off 2/3 of my contacts

I was getting the itch to flash a new ROM a few days ago(was on Apex 1.3.1)... after 2 days,... I finally got fed up with GummyJar and flashed back just now to Apex. GummyJar was sluggish on my phone and I felt like it wasn't as polished as Apex. I'm sure Kejar is a great dev and I'm not busting on his work, but yet again I come back to Apex for its stability and speed. + all the good blur and none of the crap.

I switched from the 3D gallery to the stock motorola gallery, but when I did that the mot gallery wouldn't even open. Any solutions?

That seems to be the only issue I've had so far.

Ok, guys.. how do I get my dialer to work with custom screen density? This is my first go around with a Blurred ROM, so I don't have a known working APK to pull and push. Density set to 190, if that matters.

Dialer just doesn't like it if you change the density. No solution yet, I don't believe, try an alternate download, I think there are some in the market but I have no clue, I can't really think. Lol. Happy New Year.

Using jrummy's overclock app, is there a preferred setting using this ROM or is it just test each out like he says in the apps instructions?

you set it accord\ing to your phone all are different my droidx is at 3.5 it reboots about once every three days so ite pretty stable there if your phone acts goofy crank it down

Which voltage do you use? I'm seeming to have the best luck w/ low voltage. Is that odd?
