[ROM] ApeX 1.3.1 for Droid X - Running, running, as fast as it can (12/16/10)

This is after the latest update....

Do we gotta DeOdexed our phone to run any ROM...I thought about the first time I was gonna run a ROM I went ahead and DeOdexed my Droid X....

Also, tried Liberty today. Lots of bells and whistles but it isn't there yet. Nandroided back to Apex after playing with Liberty for awhile. Just so much more polished, everything works 100% and I can do anything with Apex that I could do with the Liberty toolbox...

+1 - Apex's UI is much better. More customizable (scripts), It allows/has the perfect blend of AOSP (2 pt) and BLUR (1 pt). It makes my dancedroid2

Not sure exactly what is is, but I can't be without apex for more than a day. For some reason (all the hype) I want to use liberty. But I constantly compare it to apex and come right back.

Apex just works. Its got the exact right blend of blur and aosp.

Fab, you can make new versions, but don't change apex's sole, please...

ApeX just allows everyone to use as much blur as they want. Fab is a god.

I honestly don't expect to see an update to Apex until the next leak or OTA. Need, everything works.

Only gripe I have with the GB keyboard is that it doesn't swipe close very easy in text messaging app (though it does in landscape mode with the phone sideways).

Anyone having reboots constantly? I get reboots and then the screen goes to black when it boots up and says process system not responding, force close or wait. I then have to reboot the phone again to make it work. Anyone seeing anything like this?

Hey Fab, same for me as with others who have said the above. Great ROM and all but on 1.3.1 and even back on 1.3.0, I fairly often experience freezing/hanging and then the "reboot" to the Android boot screen, which isn't really booting and I have to hold down power and choose "Reboot" to make it restart. Or sometimes it will go to the system not responding/force close/wait popup.

It happens at the worst times like trying to use Google Navigation, many many times opening and using the Gallery (usually freezes right after launching the 3d one), and many other various times. I don't think an app or startup process is causing this and I'm using ADW EX.
Also, I cleared my data/cache before flashing this one.

I don't know guys, I very rarely get reboots. Are you under/overclocked? A faulty setting could cause this if it gets bumped up into a setting the cpu can't handle.

I'm underclocked and ultra low voltaged and I've only had a few reboots- usually about 4 hours after reflashing apex after testing another ROM. I pay for ROM infidelity in a slightly delayed reboot xD

No I am not over or underclocked and I get hangs/needed reboots all the time. I have barely tweaked any ROM or theme settings. And at first after flashing it's fin, but days after it happens more and more often... really annoying.

i had this problem too in the beginning when i did the ota install of .340, rooted, and then flashed to 1.3.0/1. What solved the problem for me was sbfing .340, rooted, and flashed to 1.3.1. very little problems since.
