Yeah, I should have held off the question until I played some more. Now it seems to work!

Did you by chance try adding the stock android "Corporate" account? believe it or not, a lot of people on the Moto forum have found using this to be the solution to poor exchange performance...
I ran the stock app for a while after installing ApeX this morning. I must say that I prefer the Moto version simply by the way it renders closer to the way Outlook does. It's a purely subjective preference.
I'm just glad I have it working on ApeX. I moved over from RubiX after failing to get the Moto email client to work on Focused (0.5 and 1.0) and having problems with it on Blurry 0.3 (Outlook contact would not sync).
I've found my new home now!
Has anyone had any issues with certain apps from the market not installing?
These are apps that I had on my phone prior to changing to this ROM. 98% of all the apps I have put back on there have reinstalled and are working like a charm. However, I'm running into three or four that when it downloads and installs, it says: "Installation was unsuccessful." One of these, is the Angry Birds game, which installed and ran fine on my stock 2.2.
Just curious if anyone has had this particular issue. Since I don't get any details as to WHY it doesn't install, I have no idea what to do or look at to try to fix it.
EDIT: Nevermind. FINALLY found an answer that worked for me. In case anyone else is having an issue with this, check out this thread here. I can confirm that after doing this, Angry Birds installed just fine.

I would be eternally indebted to you if you could point me in the direction of the panoramic mode fix!!!
int:I think fab was on to something when he suggested NEXtheme may have broken the camera. I pulled BlurCamera.apk out of the Apex zip and i'm attempting to install it, but i'm getting:
"mount: Device or resource busy"
when i use fab's script to try and install it. i suspect this is a permissions issue...how do i go about rectifying this? Any help getting my panoramic feature back would be greatly appreciated!
Edit2: So i got it working...though i'm not sure how. Given the previous error message, the only place i really though to head was the mounts and storage menu in clockwork. I UNMOUNTED /data, rebooted, and it worked. I don't know that much about the android file system, so i don't really know how this works, but upon rebooting the camera would succesfully take panoramas. Maybe after i manually unmounted the volume the installation proceeded during the reboot? Can anyone enlighten me on this process?

Im running apex rc2 and I can't seem to view video mms. It shows as a pic with audio. Anyone else having a similar problem. I normally use handcent but have also tried on stock messaging and neither work. Not sure if its an issue with froyo handcent the rom or the idiot using them. But its usually the last option

remove the overclocking
So I installed this ROM and have been running it for 24 hours and love it. Blazing fast.
I do have an issue though. Earlier today the google sync icon appeared in my notification bar. Its been there for several hours. Under My Accounts, the contacts, calendar and mail shows as synced. I rebooted the phone and its still there.
Any ideas?

Update: You'll also need BlurCalendar.apk to view and accept meeting invites! (Found out the hard way

Been using this ROM for the last 48 hours...overall it's fast. I didn't have a problem with it until today and I'm not sure if it's the ROM...
1. This morning, the screen goes black and when I hit the power button it doesn't wake or come back on. I pressed the power button a couple more times and then finally the display came on. The phone did not reboot, it just took like forever to power the screen up and get me to the unlock.
2. During lunch, I was having some weird issues. I would get a notification that I have an email and when I went to unlock the phone, the screen would just sit at the unlock even after I unlocked it. When it did finally go past the unlock and got me to the desktop, the desktop icons were all gone. I tried to pull the notification bar down but it just sat there. I wasn't able to do anything and then after like a minute it started working again. All the icons showed up again and the notification bar works again. I did not reboot the phone at all.
Anyone else experiencing this???
