[ROM] ApeX for Droid X - An AOSP Experience

I put this on. From what I can tell, most apps re-downloaded. Problem is, when I try to install Angry Birds it says "sorry, there's not enough space to install this item" . . . PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!! lol i gotta be able to get my angry birds on

update: was also getting that error when attempting to download maps from market. now it allows me to initiate the download, but keeps saying "download failed".

Also, the game Galcon is saying "sorry, there's not enough space to install this item"


Is this for some reason attempting to install these particular apps to my sd card? All other apps work fine!

You need to install BlueEmailEngine.apk Messaging.apk. and BlurEmail.apk I installed those and mine is working

Stll closes immediately after opening....any other ideas?

Calendar issue

I am running Apex v1.0 and I installed the blurcalendar.apk so that I could use the corporate sync function with my Exchange calendar and Exchange email. However, I now have two calendar icons (both are the non-blur icons- the blue & white one) when I expand my Apps and I get two reminders in my reminder tray for every event (one is the colored calendar icon and the other is the icon with the "1" and is gray and white in color. Any ideas how I stop both reminders from showing up in the tray (I still want at least one reminder in the tray..just not both)?

You can remove the old calendar app (or rather, just rename it) in terminal emulator:

su

mv /system/app/CalendarGoogle.apk /system/app/CalendarGoogle.bak
sys -ro

Droid X Bootstrapper doesn't work

Flashed from Rubix. So i'm using apex now

When I hit reboot recovery, i see super user grant permissions, it reboots, but then it boots directly back into the regular home screen... I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Any ideas?

Has anyne else run into this issue on this ROM? I can't seem to find any on this thread. Any possible solutions or suggestions on what to check?

This issue has been around for quite a fewroms, but check out under the spare parts app there is a battey thing and it works for me when the android one doesn't

I agree: Spare Parts always works. The stock Battery Manager sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. I've yet to figure out what chain of events leads it to fail.

So I just wanted to know what the name.of the blur calendar widget is called in the zip folder. Its the only thing I want from blur but I can't figure out what it's called in the zip folder to install it. Thanks

Is it just me, or are the icons in the email app all screwy (see attached)? Also, where's the "move" option for exchange email?

I also have the email icon issue. I'm in v1.0. Any fix?

In addition, if I have pattern lock enabled, and set to turn on at any time other than "when screen is off", I will often get a restart after sliding the tab and before the pattern is shown.this doesn't happen if its set to when screen is off or if pattern lock is disabled.
