The new version is a ton better. It has added features along with chat. Just check it out. I think you'll be pleased.

In the past I've found it to be poorly written and rough on resources/battery. I use the Launcherpro widget and was often directed to the FB website anyways, so I figured it wasn't worth it. If the current version is recommended, I'll give it another shot.

Im confused in the orignal post, he says to do a factory wipe and reset. Won't we lose the rom file if I do a factory resest? I want to try this rom but not at the expense of messing up my phone on installation lol.., Just want to verify a few things before I install it..

Like I'm downloading it from my PC atm, can I just move it over to my sd card so when i do the reset it will still be on the phone?

Are the elements of blur on this rom (never tried it and now I sort of want to)

How is the speed and the battery life?

You will not lose the rom after a factory reset, the blur elements can be installed or removed at will. Battery and speed are a big improvement over stock, and yes you just drag the rom to the root of your sdcard. make sure to backup your contacts to Gmail and make a nandroid backup as well and you'll be good to go.

After dowoading to your PC you copy the rom file to your SD card. This is the location where you install it from also, so a factory is safe to do.

Ok so lets say for instance my computer isn't recognizing my x, and i have the zip file already downloaded (I downloaded it on my phone last night) can I do the wipe and still ensure the file will be there after the wipe?

Never mind, I got it to transfer ( I was hitting the wrong sync button on my phone lol) Too bad now I have to leave the house.. I'll install it tonight. I moved it to the downloads folder in my sd card will that be safe?

I went from 1.4.0, which keeps fails on Process system when booting to 1.4.1.
wiped data and cache
installed the rom
then the issues started: It would just freeze after it booted
then I had to pull the battery. Rebooted again and it froze when I tried to unlock it. Battery pull and reboot again. This tile it let me log in only to freeze up again. Batt Pull, reboot. got logged in and it ran for about 10 min, then it froze again. I then went back to 1.4.0 it does a crazy FC on boot up, but at least it runs. This could be a one off, so I may download it it again later.

You might have gotten a bad download. Download again and then try flashing that one.

I know that dev's post MD5 codes with the download so you can see what you should end up with, but I'm not sure how you use this... Anyone know how?

I have a question about undervolting. I went into the toolbox and have ran ULV and LV setting however it seems when i run these setting my signal seems to drop to 1x a lot (not sure if its me or not) but when i drive to and from work i stream music and when it hits 1x it causes delay in the streaming. So my question is can undervolting cause my phone signal to be weaker (esp. when the screen is off) and does anyone know how to revert back to stock voltage. (I know option 3 in terminal emulator is stock option but there are 12 choices within option 3. Thanks
