Go into the terminal and enter the toolbox and try to select one of the messaging programs. If I were you I'd switch from the one you are using (if using AOSP switch to MOT vice versa) and then let it install and then switch it back.

I'm using the stock messaging. I had chomp as well as handcent but I was getting the same issues with them so I uninstalled. I'll try this tonight. Thanks.

After updating to 1.4.1 all of my facebook synced contact photos are gone. they show up when i scroll through my contacts, but not when im in a text messaging thread. Any ideas?

It seems like a lot of people have been getting this problem and the only solution i could find is downloading the app "sync my pix". Its a free app that will sync and update your contacts with their facebook profile pics. its not 100%, but at least you can rest assure knowing that the best friend that you were texting no longer looks like a gray android

I've just recently started installing Roms. Tried non blur, gummyjar and darkslide.
But I do like some blur. Just tried blur simply stunning X, I liked that one, but I'm really loving Apex 1.4.I added blur text messaging and I'm never going back to stock. dancedroid

I switched from the AOSP messaging suite to the blur messaging suite, but when i tried to go back to AOSP it said the download was successful, but operation not permitted and installation failed. Help?
