v1.4.0 & v1.4.1 I can download apps from the market but can't download images or attachments in corporate email (vanilla) nor can I download files of any size over 150k via AnyFTP app --- works fine in earlier Apex releases.
Any thoughts or tips? Thanks, love the ROM's otherwise -- turned an unreliable block into a pleasure to use (in spite of Motorola's horrible customer support & Verizon's lack of care)!!

Just read through what I haven't seen in the last few days, thought I would try to help some of you out.
-For those not able to download stuff from the toolbox, try to "updatetb" and then try again.
-For those not getting vibrations when getting texts, go into messaging, settings, notifications and check that vibrate is on there. Then there is a vibrate setting in menu, settings, sounds, I believe.
-Those getting double SMS, try to download the alternate SMS app from the toolbox (if using AOSP, get motorola, then once it downloads and installs switch back --vice versa). If you are using CHOMP or Hancent, you need to turn off the stock messaging notifications, and it helps if you use the MOT messaging instead of the AOSP for using alternate sms clients.
-Anything else I missed, just ask again and I'll try to help you out.

I don't know if this has anything to do with apex but recently when I have updated multiple apps from the market I have had issues with my phone freezing up and even rebooting. I noticed it first after I flashed from 1.4 to 1.4.1 so I finally restored back to my backup from 1.4 and was afraid to flash back to 1.4.1 again. Then I noticed that it happened again in 1.4 when I was updating a few apps at a time so I am wondering if it is the new market. Anyone else have this issue?

That market has been causing issues on EVERY rom.... so its not just you~

If you clear all the market data, that usually helps (in my experiences anyways)
Go to settings, then to applications, then to manage. Find and click on the market, and then clear data.
This fixed my problems

Does anyone have the APEX bootanimation in blue instead of green by anychance?
If anyone has hints on how to get vanilla corp Exchange attachments to download or AnyFTP client based downloads to work? i.e. other than Market, everything chokes somewhere in the first 100k-175k of download then times out ... strange!

At the top of this thread it talks about toolbox version 1.0.6 is that a part of ApeX V1.4.1 for Droid X? If so where do I find it? If not where do I download it?
Open Terminal and type the following... (hit enter after each line).
