[ROM] TWO roms?? This guy's crazy!

running focused .5 and love it but jsut wondering as anyone else had a problem when deleting an app?

when i delete an app its icon is still in my application market (or whatever its called) until i reboot the phone. kinda annoying

install was great. restore was easy and back to where I was within minutes. the only problem, the onix concepts blackmodz return black bar mod doesn't install from RM. that's the only thing missing now. should i do a recovery install instead?

so apps restore on there own? how? how long does it take?

If you open market hit menu then downloads there's a list of apps you have purchased or downloaded. every since I flashed 2.2 on the og droid these apps have been the first to auto install themselves when I did a fresh install. I think it was a part of 2.2 but I'm not sure. May have been a market update that allows this. It works well although I recommend you be on a wifi connection to help speed the process along cause all the apps start downloading simultaneously and on the 3G that could take a while. That's why i usually flash roms at home on my network. On a side note I have some apps in the download section I paid for but no longer have installed. those particular ones do not restore.

I don't speak for everyone, but the above is what my droids do.

On a brighter note I did find the espn radio app on my download list tonight. It's been missing from market from me for a while. may be the build.props thing, not sure.

With this, I've never needed to do a backup/restore of anything. I have to re-set up a few apps, but I have never had to deal with the headaches of restores blowing stuff up (as many others have had to deal with).

Hi, first thanks for the great ROMs!
I loaded the non-blur one but i forgot i need corporate sync and I cannot get to work. I tried adding bluremail.apk and bluremailengine.apk and rebooted but still no luck.
I guess I should just try the blurred version but wanted to see if there was any other apk i might have missed to put back. I like the speed of this and that is the only thing i am missing from blur.
Thanks again, Greg

any progress on this? I also need corporate sync, and when i try to install bluremail.apk it won't do anything. need help.

My problem with it, is I don't always get all the apps I had before a wipe and install.

Any idea about the black bar mod

-- Apps: Hmm, for that I use appbrain. Market puts most of them back, appbrain does the rest. no backups/restores required.

--Blackbar Mod: Uhmm, which mod are you referring? Black bar mod isn't (to my knowledge) part of the plan for rubiX, you should be able to add it yourself. I belive the easiest way is: ROM Manager> Download ROM> Onix Concepts> Blackmodz Returns... I **think** that mod will give you the black notification bar.. ? Also not planned to be in the ROM, (to my knowledge)...

Tried that one and it didn't install with rom manager. Should I try a recovery install?
