Is there any plans to make this "real hdmi" compatible?
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
To the person asking about the USB problem:
1. Plug the phone in to the computer via the USB cord
2. Go into Settings -> SD Card & Phone Storage
3. Unmount the SD Card
4. Turn off the phone
5. Turn on the phone
6. Your computer should now recognize the phone and your phone should now have the standard USB options
Thanks for the info! I read about that a couple of pages back... I just did a fresh install with wipe of the new version (didn't have too many apps) so no biggie!
For the apps, I would recommend using Titanium Backup. The free version is good for backup/restore or apps and app data (I don't do system data since it breaks things sometimes). The paid version is even better, since you don't need to manually say it is ok to install apps.
yeah, you don't have to cancel 20 dl's
Sorry, not trying to be dense here. So if I use GV for VVM on my VZW phone, will it have the same greeting as someone who calls my GV number directly?
I believe so, not 100% sure if you can change the greeting by the number DIALED.. I know you can change it by the number they're calling FROM (who's calling)...
Get a second GV number. do a conditional forward from your phone (*71<10digitnumber>). Set up the greeting on the GV number for your cell phone greeting.
No one needs to know that new GV number. It will only get called when you don't answer the cell.
Will yahoo mail work in 1.6? U need the paid yahoo mail account to work on 1.0...
I def. do NOT have paid yahoo account, and I get my mail just fine with:
Yahoo! Mail for Android - Android app on AppBrain
Not all in single inbox.. :S.. but if I wanted that, I'd just forward all my mail from yahoo to gmail, and set up a label. *shrug*
Is there an updated blackbar mod that was used in 1.0 of Rubix? It was called "Black Bar Mod by JsinLegacy" for v 1.0.
I installed rubiX 1.6 with the stock voltage settings and my battery life seems to be suffering miserably. Now I did flash this ROM twice, flash a backup and reinstall all of my apps, so it could be that. But is there anything else I can check? Oh, and of course battery manager force closes every time I attempt to open it and see what's draining the battery.

Compass Calibrate still does not work
Nor does 3G HotSpot
stock volt patch

ONLY RUN THIS PATCH IF YOU DOWNLOADED BEFORE 12:51 PM EST ON NOVEMBER 1ST, it is updated in the rom and not needed if downloaded after
Patches:
These are applied by booting into ClockworkMod Recovery, and installing .zip file from SDCard (NO need to wipe data/cache):
--If you preferred the launcher used in Focused 1.0, to ADW which is default in 1.6 (This will REMOVE ADW):

FAQs:
--During install, if I am upgrading from Focused 1.0, do I need to wipe data/cache?
Drod2169: "It is fully and completely recommended, but not necessarily necessary. If you experience ANY problems, wipe data and cache before posting about them and see if they come back"
--This ROM has some memory management/tweaks, Should I uninstall MinFreeManager and/or Autokiller and/or Autostarts?
Drod2169: "Yes. They might actually cause the phone to run slower/worse if they conflict."
--Reboots/stability issues, etc.? Most likely caused by undervolting.
Fix: Delete the /system/xbin/lowvolt.sh file, and reboot.
More incoming...
Could someone post a screenshot of their battery manager stats? I would like to compare it to mine to see if something is causing rubix to drain my battery.
