I was just about to ask Drod the same thing. Thought I read about an hour back in the diatribe that he was working on something to fix the cpu sleep issue. I don't want to rush greatness but I am looking forward to it anxiously. I installed the jrummy overclock app and I'm hoping that ULV settings will help.
Depends on your phone. Some can go to the max 1.45 on jrummys app, others can hardly do it at all. Droid x varies wildly in this respect. Mine can do 1.35 ULV before it starts to lock up.
As far as the battery issues, drod is aware and new rubix is currently being tested. Twitter says that test rubix is at 80% life after 5 hours of moderate use.
Mine overclocked with the leak and rubix 1.9.3 according to the app and quadrant. Don't care much for quadrant scores but the app did pick up the overclock in the system info screen so assuming it applied correctly.
My settings menu is gone. From homescreen, pressing menu>settings does nothing, and settings icon is missing from the app drawer.
Only thing I did since yesterday was I made a backup then tried a new rom that I didn't care for, so I restored said backup to 1.9.3.
Any thoughts? Any help is appreciated thanks!
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to kick start the market reinstalling my apps after a complete reset and install? I wiped data and cache, Dalvik cache, and installed a clean version of 1.8.9 twice now, and market will not start downloading my apps. I have a Titanium backup I can use if I have to, but I would prefer to have them cleanly to make sure that there are no issues impacting my performance or battery life.
I've even opened market and downloaded a couple apps to try and kick start it, and installed AppBrain to see if it would do it. Nothing is working. I'm stumped. Any other ideas?
