rubiX Focused 1.9.0 Leak/Non-Leak

Power up while holding camera button and volume UP... it will give you bootloader number... 30.04 is leak... anything else is not...

My phone says i am on 2.3.3 but i never applyed the leak. I may have accidently at one point installed a leaked rom when im not leaked. I am about to wipe and instal 1.9 and im trying to figure out which version i shoukd get.

load up the bootloader and if it says 30.04 you are leaked.
otherwise you are not and should re-install the non-leaked.

not true. I got a certified like new phone as a replacement from verizon. software 2.3.151 and 30.04 bootloader. that is not the leak. And I still use non leak roms.

Very nice Rom, I've had no issues thus far. Donation on the way.

I'm guessing you're trying to install it from the Android recovery. You need to do it from within clockworkmod recovery (available via the Droid X Bootstrapper application).

IF you're doing it from Clockworkmod recovery, probably a bad .zip file? But I'm pretty sure that's not the case..

Anyone else notice their phone not vibrating when receiving text messages? I've reloaded 1.9.0 on my phone again this morning and still no dice. Am I an isolated case?

Just so that you don't think you're alone...mine is doing the same thing. I'm on the non-leaked version with the juices theme. Maybe you and I aren't configured properly...but until somebody comes on and says that theirs is working....I think it's a bug.
Everything else is working for me that I know of....
Mine works fine. Are you guys sure Vibrate is enabled in Messaging settings? It is usually disabled by default.

I've changed the vibrate settings in the messaging app and in the general phone settings. Have the both set to vibrate always. Perhaps I'll try using chomp sms and see if that will change anything.

Otherwise, everything has been working just fine. I'm not using a theme for the time being. I was using Sephin's black bar mod before I re-flashed 1.9 on my phone...perhaps I'll just set the R2D2 scream as my text message notification and put the volume all the way up so I'll hear it when I'm out haha

Edit: looks like a reboot fixed it. Is 300mhz the lowest clock speed for the droid x? I keep trying g to set it to 200mhz but it just says 300mhz all the time.

I use Scream for my notifications and have to giggle just a little bit each time a SMS or E-mail comes in :)

When I had blurry, I used the swipe actions on LP to open my "Favorite Contacts" and "Recent Calls" in the dialer. Now, on Focused 1.9.0, LP doesn't see an option to add those shortcuts. Anyone know how I can shortcut to those?

Not sure those exist in the AOSP dialer. You might try a Live Folder for your favorite contacts, though I'm not sure LPP will let you set up Live Folders as swipe shortcuts.

Another alternative that I've used with rubiX is Folder Organizer, which will allow you to launch folders of your favorite contacts as a shortcut; and I believe Dialer One will allow you to launch a shortcut of recent calls.

Conserning the Vibrate capability....

Finally got it figured out with the help of a buddy....Here are the steps that I took:
- Open up your messaging app
- Goto Settings
- Scroll down to 'Notification Settings' and select
- Goto Vibrate -- select either 'Always' or 'Only when Silent' (mine was set to Never by default)

HTH

They appear to be there for me. I came over from blurry, but I wiped data and cache before installing focused. In my dialer, it still looks a lot like the blurry interface with the 4 tabs for the phone, recent, contacts, and favorites.

I just can't link a shortcut to favorites from my dock.

I have two questions..

1) I sbf'd to do a clean install of 1.9 but when the home screen came up, my old wallpaper from 1.8.9 was displayed, shouldn't it have been stock and does that mean something didn't clear correctly?

2) can someone confirm the stock vsels? After installing 1.9, and checking them with JRummys OC app, it showed the followiing:
300/27
600/38
800/49
1000/54

Reason I ask is on 1.8.9, I played with ULV at stock speeds and the vsels were higher than those. I'm just trying to figure out if something didn't clear or not because if those values are stock, why is ULV, which is supposed to be 4 volts lower is actually higher...

I don't know what the stock values are off the top of my head, but those voltages seem to be a little lower than stock... I'm undervolting mine at :

300/25
600/32
800/40
1000/53

If you guys want to figure out what voltages you should use check out a new app in the market called "Quickclock Overclock" You basically just figure out what the lowest voltage your phone will run at a certain frequency and then you can use the app to extrapolate the lowest stable voltage for a set of frequencies that you want to clock at.

The Blur Dialer and AOSP Dialer look the same. Blur added some functionality (In particular landscape mode!).
Likely one other difference is the shortcuts (or Intents) that it exposes to the OS. Think of it as kind like 'Entry Points' into the program.

In ADW you can create a 'Custom Shortcut' then pick 'Activities' ... it will now let you assign a shortcut And/Or Icon to any 'Intent' associated with a program.
The ones you are looking for are actually a part of the 'Contacts' program, not the dialer (strange, huh?).
Also be aware that not ALL intents are Intended (pun intended) to be launched as a shortcut. I doubt you can break anything, but expect some FC's as you play :)

GMAIL IS NOT SYNCING PROPERLY!!!

Every so often facebook and my accounts forget my information!

I have been changing png files inside framework-res.apk and then pushing the file back to the phone and rebooting. I think this may be erasing my google settings??? Is there a less invasive way to change pics within the apk?
