Funken - the parsing error happens when you download it from a browser other than the stock browser. I had that problem and then downloaded it with stock and it opened fine.
HOWEVER, as I said a few posts back, once I installed I was getting forced reboots all the time (on DroidMod). My phone wasn't operational until I figured out how to delete Swype while hooked up to my computer. I deleted Swype and now it works great again. Not sure what the deal was, I seem to be the only one with this problem - but the Swype Beta has been nothing but trouble for me. The leaked Swype (although less aesthetically pleasing) was great.

im running bugless beast 1.1 (2.01) and the swype beta has been perfect 
its alot better than the leaked version. if i do get any errors though ill make sure to post them as well as possible solutions.

Is this worth DLing? If it's gonna just time out in so many days and be useless then I will just keep my leaked version on. Anyone?
Or for faster access swipe from the "swype i" key to the letter with the number 5 on it on the top and that should bring you to the calculator screen.
I forgot about the fact that I was running SmokedGlass v4.5 and I tried uninstalling my previously installed leaked copy. Couldn't find it, wasn't in Astro...so I clicked the link in the email, and after I rebooted the phone, now it says "Swype Your trial period has ended. Please upgrade your copy of Swype"
Now...I can't use the beta version, and the one in SG 4.5 is disabled.
Should I reinstall the SG rom? I wonder if this permanently disabled the included version in SG...

Mine never expired. So I really dont wanna move to this if it's gonna time out on me and then I am left with zero swype

I'm going to stick with SlideIT, working very well, until you guys and the developers work out the bugs. Then if it isn't time-limited, and doesn't start disappearing on people's phones, maybe I'll give it another try. :icon_ devil:
Sure would be nice if someone figured out how to make this work with the SmokedGlass ROM. I know the SG ROM had thE leaked version built in, and I'm petty sure that's why you can't install the new beta release. I have to run another rom that I'm not fond of... but the keyboard rocks...
x2...I rooted my phone, as well as the wife's. Both were themed perfectly, so I'll wait until a ROM change interests me...
