[Theme] 928Droid Black Glass X for DROID 2 !!!

Need someone to test this new Version for me please. This is DeOdexed ONLY!!

Also if you could check the used and free space of the system folder before and after installation I would apprciate it, screen caps of before and after would be even better. You can use Root Explorer for this.. just go to the system folder and this info is at the top.

This is a fully optimized and Zip-Aligned Version and sometimes this can cause glitches so please check everything out as much as possible. BUT, if it works OK it will save around 10mbs in the system area and make for an even faster Droid 2

This also has the latest Froyo 2.3.15 apps etc and also has the lastest Gmail, Maps, Google Quick Search, and Google Voice Search apps and other tweeks.

Finally got everything sorted out and installed this one just a few minutes ago. Never really got to mess around with the original but ill let you know if anything looks out of ordinary. Looks sick by the way! Great job on it, i'm loving it!

Ha, yeah it's running like butter so far. The only issue I've run into is Handcent now has incorrect timestamps on received messages, but some Google searches reveal that was a problem on Froyo leaks for the Droid X. Any chance something you added from the 2.3.15 leak could mess with Handcent? I wouldn't think so, but worth asking.

Handcent is working fine for me.

The only thing that is kind of odd, the clock on the top right of the screen (by the battery) is all black as well, which is making it blend in with the theme color.

Cool, thanks again!! And yeah, I have heard of Timestamp issues ith the Leaks, even with stock Mms app. Can't think of anything Theme related that could make that better or worse.

Let me know if you come across anything else and I would certainly appreciate it.

THis is great - I installed the 2.3.15 update but was SO MUCH missing your theme...that I was going to flash back to 2.2.20.

Bummer....download is going at a snail's pace for some reason. Dang...gotta run.

Unless something didn't go right with the DeOdexing process.

Looks good. I have found a few of your tweaks so far. You can really tell you put a lot of effort in your themes. This is what I found.

That's not good...can you try adding it to the Hone screen and see if it still fails to open??? Also have you rebooted at least once after install?

Crap... I was supposed to change that to Droid 2 logo... will fix.

Double crap.. I forgot to put the D2 Twitter version in update.zip...will fix that also.

According to Matt a few days ago there is an issue with DeOdexing D2 and DX with xUltimate and he is working on it....even with the new v2.2.2. it currently fails to DeOdex core.jar/odex. See last 2 pages of his xUltimate Tools Thread.

In a nutshell IF the other guys don't have a "black clock issue" and you do....I lean towards an issue with your DeOdexeing OR usually a "dirty" install from flashing Custom ROMs.

A lot of guys also think that they can flash my DeOdexed Theme over their Odexed ROM and it will DeOdex their ROM....but it doesn't work that way....all this does is just cause me massive headaches with support.

Yeah I had rebooted and contacts still crashed. It wont open from the desktop either. It will open from the dialer tab though.

View all most viewed in You Tube is a Droid X Eye. Are you trying to say something about the D2 with all the DX eyes? LOL

Did you guys try clearing Data/Cache for Contacts or Contacts Storage in Settings>Applications>Manage to see if that helped w/the crashing?
