Not sure if it is okay to post from another android website, but I have read that Best Buy is the exclusive national retailer for the Bolt. I know we heard this yesterday, but today they claim that even Verizon stores will not carry the Bolt on launch day. It would make sense that Verizon would send this out to its own stores to make sure there is no confusion there. My guess is that Best Buy decided last minute to throw a few extra bucks V's way to make sure that they will have exclusivity.

This seems like the most likely explanation to me. BB has been pretty consistant in telling folks the 14th while VZW has been generally mum about the TB. Only make sense they would send this out to tell their employees to not step on BB's toes.

Well, if you pre-ordered with Best Buy, you will notice a 2/16/11 expiration date in the lower right corner of the form. They must know something concrete.

Why couldn't he have just posted this on Monday as mentioned, or waited on saying anything until he could back up with evidence at the same time.

I'm commenting on the Droid Forums "Exclusive" front page thread, started by WenMN but eventually merged at your request, stating that Miami had evidence the phone was delayed, but he couldn't share it until Monday...and then Monday went and passed, still nothing, yet Miami was active in other topics.

In this case, we are not referring to just a retail partner. We are talking about Best Buy, who has the national retail exclusive on this device. Im sure they paid a hefty fee for that claim. Because of this, I am inclined to think that they know more about the release date than a forum member/admin.
