What is a second climate??? When it rains for a day??? Santa Ana wind event??? We just drive 30 minutes to our snow.

There is a tire called blizzack, I use them on my G37s coupe, best winter tire bar none, used them two years ago in the big blizzard and was going by 4x4's, check out www.tirerack.com for availability for your car.

I've been needing a second car anyways. My Mustang is getting some mods soon that will make it useless in the snow. I know the blizzacks are a good winter tire, but where I am, a 4x4 is the way to go when its really bad out.

As for the jeeps mechanicals. I will check them out. Aside from the tranny leak it looks like it has not been abused. If some things need fixed that's fine. I've got plenty of friends that know more than me about these things. I'm not worried.

the axles and hubs every time the go through water they ingest water, even though the don't show signs of leaking. Pop the the filler plug out and make sure they aren't milky in color. hubs are cheap.

Those Blizzack's were popular on the 19" rims, I nearly bought a set. Went instead with the Michelin X-Ice, those really shredded those blizzards that year.

g37 was rwd? ... I'm sure with snow tires my car will do much much better but not great with the low clearance.... and on tirerack it's 279 each for blizzaks and 275 for pirelli scorpion ice and snow.... I checked them out a few times but outside of the steep prices and obvious issues... garage and storage space is at a premium out here lol

Yeah... my G37 is RWD and it is lowered with the Aero package, which it does scrape on speed bumps if I'm not careful. You should be fine with the blizzaks, better yet there is a rep that I deal with at TireRack that has been extremely helpful and knows tires better than I do. I'll pm his info to you.

When I used to bracket race there was a pinto, did like 24 seconds in the ¼ mile. That thing was tough to beat. He had like a .500 or better reaction time.

Dear god that's horrible. On Forza 4, I took a stock Pinto to the 1320... it hit an 18.5 LOL.

Your welcome... If your even considering trading in, wait till the summer Infiniti changed their entire line-up to the Q's (Audi isn't happy.) The Q50 which is replacing the G37, where they will have 4 engine options a 1) 3.7=328hp, 2) Hybrid=354hp, 3) Turbo (rumored) 550hp, 4) Diesel (non-US most likely). I'm strongly considering that Hybrid, considering I'm Dynoed at 358hp currently at 15 mpg's on Premium, 32-40+ on a Hybrid w/o sacrificing power would be a huge improvement. :yeahbaby01:

so the hybrid will be faster than gas powered? I personally wouldn't get a hybrid... I'm guessing it'll easily be over 40k, maybe over 50k loaded? if the turbo comes out thatll be sick but at a premium.. I have different ideas in that price range but if I did get one it'd be a 09-11... I'll take a look today when I'm at the dealership, my friends buying a 12 maxima
