While we wait ....

So in preparation I switched my background. This phone officially knows its getting kicked to the curb.

I haven't made that jump yet, but I've been using Google Now Launcher for a month or two. Was using Google keyboard until I started trying the SwiftKey neural alpha. Used Photos until I found out it's been neutered by the system & can't access the SD card...

I used Swiftkey for a week. I didn't like the hidden question mark. Had to hold the .,? Down for it. Wasn't intuitive for me. Back to Google keyboard.

Is that an option on Google keyboard? I just switched back to check & the? Is hidden under the period on mine, much like SwiftKey. In fact, they both require a hold down & a slight slide to the right.

Anyway, I'm probably going back as well. If not before the 6p gets here, I just won't load another keyboard on it. Google has treated me right. I just want to be sure I'm giving sk neural the proper chance to learn. I don't really see where it makes much of a difference unless you use predictions regularly. I mostly swipe my words, but even when I tap, I'm not seeing it come up with the next word I want to use very often.

I've been using the Google keyboard and have been liking it. I used the Neural keyboard for a while and didn't mind it but just got lazy when I switched back over to my G2.

The Google keyboard has it to the left. ?123. Swiftkey was on the right

Hold down the period on Google keyboard. That gives you lots of punctuation options. More than SwiftKey. I'm probably just used to that because I used SwiftKey for a very long time before switching to Google keyboard.

If you tap that left button (123) on SwiftKey, there's still a ? available there as well.

See what y'all have found to entertain yourselves... I'm stuck on Swype, been using it since the pretty girl in the VZW store showed it to me when I bought the DX

I was in on the Swype beta, but never ended up using the gesture typing until SwiftKey added it years later. Haha! Now I gotta have it.

I do notice that I type 2 handed in portrait mode on this Note 4 a lot lately. That's weird. I always thought it looked kinda silly when people did that & here I am doing it right now.

I'm definitely Italy faster with 2 thumbs than with swiping.

Like I said, I'll go back to google's option when or maybe even before my 6p arrives.

? I set SwiftKey to faster long press.. On the right side here
