That's just it though. They COULD have put in there "Early Q4" in the update timetable. We were once "Early Q3" but they chose not to label it as such, so that tells me they are not very confident they can get it out early. Heck any time before Nov 15th (1/2 way point through Q4) could be called "Early Q4". They are leaving a LOT of room as if they truly don't know if they can get this done before then.

And so he is holding himself accountable, yes it is a nice gesture and all, but what does that mean really? If it doesn't roll out in Q4, he will issue a public apology on his G+ page, and ask for our patience as they will push it out in Q1 and he will hold himself personally responsible then too?

Previously there were no personal commitments from anyone at "Motorola". Now there is a public statement from an individual in a senior position stating that he will hold himself accountable. In effect he is publicly putting his reputation on the line. I see that as significantly different than what we have seen in the past which was only a date thrown out by a generic "Motorola".

He also said he plans to update the thread monthly on the status. I really don't like to read into things, but I immediately thought "does this mean he's expecting this to go on for months to come?" I know I'm being a little pessimistic about it. It sounds like he wants what's best for the customer. But there's only so much that seems to be possible. The delays just keep coming....

The way I read it is that the entire table, encompassing all devices, will be updated monthly. Those monthly updates would not be limited to the Bionic.

Everything seems to run great on 246, installed this morning. Same basic snappy responsiveness as 244. Will chk rest later, eating breakfast now.

Motorola's official upgrade page has been updated this morning. Q4 is now stated as the new roll out period for the Bionic. I guess Punit Soni's post on his Google+ page was true with regards to updating the upgrade page soon.

Yeah, that's what Im hoping for. They've already signed off on .246 so it should be coming in the next week. Especially after the fiasco that took place yesterday!
