after downloading the kernal from rom manager it ask you to wipe and backup again, is this a must? I just finished doing my screens.
Are there scripts to remove unwanted programs through term em? I just switched from UD, your entire system is unbelievable.
I just switched from UD10 to 5.06.1 using RM. I restored the apps (but not system data) with BackupPro. Swype keeps force closing on me. Any ideas? Also, when changing themes do I need to wipe data/cache?
Not sure if reported:
Using Beautiful Widgets, current version. Upon selecting AIRPLANE MODE with the widget, does not put phone in airplane mode. Have to result to power button on phone. Hope it get fixed soon.
No one has this issue with Beaut Widgets?
Yes, I'm having the same issue with Airplane mode and Beautiful Widgets. Luckily I'm not on airplanes much.
But yes, confirmed.
Boot to Clockwork recovery and do a factory reset, then wipe all 4 partitions (data, cache, system, boot) a couple of times each. It seems overboard but that's what I had to do the last time to make sure all remaining bits from the last rom were blown away for good. Before I did that I kept seeing bits and pieces from the previous rom that shouldn't have been there. Afterwards the new rom was smooth and error free.Made the switch from us and got the paid version of rom manager. Since I flashed and installed cyanogen I haven't been able to see the paid apps tab on the market. Anyone else getting this? I've wiped data, I noticed that even after wiped data and cache my background stays on the same custom pic I had set before the wipe. I've tried different installs, different Roms flashed, reflashed wiped rewiped. Same thing every time. Any answers?
anyone know why the kernals from RM arent actually installing. It goes through the recovery installation but when my phone boots back up and i go to setcpu...it still says im running the same kernal over and over. I want, and keep installing, a 1.2 GHz kernal...but always end up with 1 GHz kernal.
And yes i unchecked 'set on boot'

Did you try going into setcpu and hit the menu button and select device selection then auto detect? Only thing I can think of.
Currently on 5.0.6 and tried to update to 5.0.6.1 or what ever through Rom manger but it stopped down loading at about 20% and said it was completed. I tried to install and it aborted obviously. But now I try to down load again and it thinks its complete so it wont entirely download. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue.
Absolutely love the ROM. I just wish helix 2 would work and hope fork themes get updated soon.
