Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

Mine has been doing it ever since 905 went OTA, the 905 leaked version didn't do it with my phone. I have noticed with 244 ICS, it has slowed down on acting up on data handoff.
Maybe your data is corrupt. Try a fresh install with a full factory reset wipe. :icon_ devil:

Samuri! I decided to take the plunge. Yes, I fully know the risks! So, I read the OP and followed your instructions to the letter while watching SNL :)
Everything worked great!!! Thank you, I am now on 244 :) Soooo! Now what?

Thank you very much for all of your hard work and for making it easy:icon_ banana:
I'll let you know how it's working when the phone settles in tomorrow :-) I am not worthy :hail: I am not worthy:hail:

I FDR after every update anyways, I had went back to the leaked to make sure and sure enough no data issues. After I pushed the 2233 leak same thing very little data issues, then I went 232, same thing, then when I went 238 I lost data a lot, then when I went to 244, I have yet to have a data issue, after each update I did an FDR.

One thing you can't fault about moto is their versioning convention protocol. The versions, through illicit or front door channels are absolute. If there is ANY code changed in 905 after

the leak it would have been 906, just like 904, the original leak, became 905. Threw in this from a min ago

That's why we do the hash checks, though. Some of us don't trust that they won't try to slip something in but it's not happened yet. We will check the ota against our leak, as well. The big difference is in how it gets installed through ota vs how we install leaks. When getting an ota, it downloads it into the /cache folder along with a crc file. The phone then detects that update and prompts you to install it. Basically it scripts installing it with recovery. The next time you're in recovery, take a look at the very last option. That'd be the one they use. A leak, otoh, gets put on your sdcard-ext. From there we manually reboot into recovery and use the second option to install it. In theory it's the exact same method for installing except for the location. I actually tried pushing it to /cache from the HoB but I could never get it to work.

running 244+root. Battery life is still only about 6 hours. Would I benefit from factory reset & wipe? If so, does it have any impact on 244 and/or root?

Thanks

Yes, I know. My mini-fxz options in the HoB work well, but, I'm not sure they're well suited to what you're trying to do. They might be though.
