Tell me about it but its almost a finished product. U want to take it for a test drive when its done?

I'll take a look at it but I don't want to try flashing it simply cause I need a working phone for 2 reasons. Once we get to OTA maybe I'll be able to check it out and flash it but until then I gotta be able to support the HoB. Definitely interested in taking a look at what you got though.

Well u kinda need to be on 232 to be able to go back if ur on 235 ur stuck on my custom build till the ICS fxz comes out

Off topic. I have followed and been using the Bionic support for almost a year. Thank you all for great work you do. I ordered the new razr m to replace my wife's D2. Now I read on the forum that it may not be rootable. I thought the root tool used here was universal to all razrs and most droids. Does anyone on this thread have info on this?

The root exploit has been patched in the newest Moto phones. They are unrootable according to Dan R who created the root exploits for us.

I completely agree. But if Dan R, the person who created the original motofail exploit, says there aren't any known exploits, we're pretty screwed. And that's, in fact, what he has said.

Thanks for the feedback SamuriHL. I guess this will be my last moto. I may take the razr m back as soon as it arrives. What would you recommend for a non-tech moderate user?

Well,l I'm getting a RAZR HD Developer phone as soon as I can afford it unless I see something compelling in the Nexus lineup coming out in November or December.

Sounds like a good plan to me. If I can hold out, I plan on keeping my bionic until it completely dies. Its done very well for me since day one.

Yea, I'm DEBATING waiting to see the next generation of Moto phones next year. I suspect that these new RAZR phones are the last of the phones Moto had in the pipeline pre-Google. It'd be interesting to see what Google does with Moto next year. We'll see if I hold out or not. The money for a developer or nexus phone isn't small to me right now as I have some home theater ambitions that need some funding. So, we'll see what happens and whether I hold onto the Bionic a little longer. I mean, ICS, dual core, and rooted....not really a bad combination that we currently have on the Bionic.
