Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

Well I am hoping that my batttery is too weak to do anything with at this point. Apparently when I tried to flash Eclipse 3.0 I lost everything. Now I can boot the Bionic to fastboot, but it says the battery is low. Well, until hours of trying too charge. I finally tried updating the drivers, so now unless I have it plugged into the wall, the only thing that happens when I try booting it is the white led light. I'm considering purchasing a new battery and/or a battery charger. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

i have spare battery for all my phone.
but i belive if you boot loop your phone.. you will have a hard time charging your phone

Stand alone battery charger is worth it IMO. I have an extra battery and it can charge both that battery and the phone at the same time. WAY worth the investment. But yes, you will need to get it charged in order to successfully flash it. As an FYI, I'm on 232 with my restored nandroid and everything is working perfectly. No issues at all. So even if you completely screw it up, if you can get back to fastboot, it can be fixed.

what type of charger do you have? I've been looking at some today.

if you have an extra charging cable, cut the "bionic end" of the cable off and strip back the black covering to expose the wires. pull the battery out and you will see plus and neg signs on the battery. strip just alittle off of the black and red wire. tape the red to the positive and the black to the neg. plug into the wall charger but do not leave it for more then 30 mins. yur battery should be charged enough to flash.

try this.. it's not from me..
Take a USB cable and strip the end that you plug into your phone and take the battery out of your bionic and place the red wire on + and the black wire on the - side. I have done this 3-4 times before when I tried to fxz with a low battery.

Ah, I read something earlier that mentioned using the white wire instead of the red. I will try the red.

Ha, that might of been from me a while back. I bootlooped with a dead battery and after a long search I found this on some forum somewhere. He is right, strip a non needed usb cable, all wires are the same. Take the red and put it on the postive (+) and black on the negative (-) sides of the battery. Leave for a few hours and you should be good to go.
Only way I was able to charge my phone. Now a I have spare though as I bought an extended battery so I have my other as spare.

i read about this method.. it's call the Ghetto method and not recommend because the battery can blow up.. hence the 30 min limit
the person was using a ac charger with strip wires.. not from a usb wire plug in to a usb plug
