Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

Well, if the script works as it's designed to, you don't lose anything. That's kind of the point. But stuff happens and things go wrong from time to time. I designed it to be multi-pronged so that if it gets all messed up, we can still recover you and get you updated, but, with a longer data killing process.

OK, rebooting after all the updates. Hope this is as good as .230. I had zero problems on it and the only reason to upgrade was hoping some minor issues got resolved. White on white mainly but a few apps that were force closing.

Edit: Android is upgrading......Optimizing application 1 of 120................

Stupid question, but what do you recommend for Hash/CRC checking in Windows 7? I had one that I used to use, but it doesn't like Win7 much.

I haven't had a chance to play around with it since I did the update. I need to set up a few things and do a new nandroid. The white on white thing being fixed will be nice for sure.

T
hat's what I always tell people to use. I use something different that adds a hash tab to the file properties but that'll work fine.

Added the link to the OP for future reference.

ok, was looking promising but now I'm getting "Unfortunately, Motorola Services has stopped" and "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped" and "Unfortunately, Setup has stopped" over and over again. I finally got it to shutoff in between messages. These were all on the lock screen

Boot into recovery again and wipe the cache again. If that doesn't work, sadly you're going to have to do a factory reset...again in recovery.

Good luck. Post if you have problems.

Ran the latest Runme.bat and got an error at the end of the 902 update/backdate reporting something like: "space limitation...unable to flash preinstall.img" and install ended reporting this one error.

Not sure, but having to FXZ back to 902 manually and now restoring from backup. I suspect it will still be easier to root .902, root, and restore nand backup, and try again. Either way, I'll let you know how it goes. Sorli...

I keep getting: failed to copy (long file name here), permission denied.

Can I copy them over manually then just continue with the script, or do you forsee other problems if I try that?

As for you, I would do a full FXZ back to 902 and start clean. :(

Hmmm, I thought I did that, let me double check!

Yes, that was it! Sorry, thank you for your patience and help! This community is very lucky to have you!

read my post.. make sure you are not using a ac charger!!!!! use a usb cable.. a usb cable..

Thank you guys. I'm back up and running. Yes, it was pretty stupid of me to try to add a ROM on such low of a charge, with no charger or extra battery. But no worries, I've ordered one now.
