Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

The mirror links have 232 in them. You should *ALWAYS* check the updates dir BEFORE flashing. ;) Sounds like you have my original V2 version with 230 in it. Get 232 and drop it in your updates dir and it'll get pushed to your phone. Then you can just use my script to update from 230 to 232.

I had that problem too, the mirror I downloaded from had 230 in it, not 232. No big deal, I just grabbed the 232 from another thread and ran the script again. Worked beautifully. Thank you again for your help, I appreciate it very, very much!

I'll need to fix the OP in the morning and get the proper links and hashes up there to better help people. On rootzwiki it looks like there may be interest in a mac/Linux port to shell script. I'll try to take a stab at something like that tomorrow assuming they have adb and moto-fastboot available to them. Runme.sh? :)

I'm new to the forums, so can't post URLs yet :-)
But yes, a fastboot does exist for OSX, and probably for linux (I haven't looked for it yet).
I just did a blog post about host two days ago. Check out silverwraith dot com / blog for how to do this on OSX. I mostly followed Timmy's directions, but the fastboot-mac binary is linked there which you'll need.

As for adb, I had it installed already from the SDKs. I can send you the OSX binary for it if you need, and probably dig up the linux one and any supporting libraries it needs. The OSX adb binary is statically compiled so it doesn't need any supporting libraries. Perhaps the Linux ones is too :-)

okay so a i ran the script from .230 trying to get to .232, flashed back to .902 GB, then tried to update to .905 via the script. i got to the part where i chose the .905 update but failed. it said something about sideloading?

but i have successfully fxz back to .902. downloading .905 right now and then going to manually update to .232? recommended that i factory reset before flashing the .232?

Thanks. I'm going to try to put together a little Unix script and have the mac/Linux crowd test it out. I do t have time to put together a Linux machine right now but I don't think it'd be too much work to write a mostly equivalent shell script. It may not be exactly the same functionality but it should be pretty close.

When this happened did you look for errors during the flashing part? How did you try to apply 905? Sorry but there's not a lot to go on to figure out what went wrong.

Yes. I don't have the hash posted for the version that includes 232.
