Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

If you have the full House of Bionic V2 with 230 in it, all you need to do is remove the 230 zip from the updates dir and drop the 232 update zip in there in its place. Don't forget to grab the RUNME.zip attachment on the OP and unzip it into the House of Bionic directory and overwrite RUNME.bat. Then you're done. No need to redownload anything.

Nice!

And again, GREAT work Samuri! dancedroid

The RUNME.bat is in the attachments on the OP, but I don't see the 232 update DL....do I just grab it from another thread, or am I just not seeing it...

I thought people would like that. :D I wrote it in such a way that any zip file in the updates dir gets pushed to your sdcard-ext. That's why you can just grab the latest ICS leak and drop it in there and the script will take care of it for you. The updated bat file adds the pauses that were requested and some updated text. I'm working on a unix port of the script but it's going to be a few days...probably won't be done before the weekend. It's a fair bit of work.

In any case, I'm really glad this script is helping people out and that you're all finding it useful. Makes me really happy.

Yea, just grab it from one of the many links floating around. Check the md5 hash to make sure it's the right file...it should be:

CRC32: F8EF6799
MD5: E002C1650F0F73C5BE8543ACF1329CBC
SHA-1: 5538D6E9529C6B2A40570A3AD84CC31596F21FC6

My only problem is flash not working still. Since I left 2233 and now @ 232 it hasn't worked. I have wiped cache, uninstalled flash wiped, reinstalled and nothing. Had an update today and noticed on the flash play page no support for 4.x.x So it either works or doesnt... how do iClones deal with no flash.

Sent from my Bionic on ICS 232 w/ Tapatalk™

Poorly. :D But we're going to have to get used to it cause JB is not going to even allow it to be installed if it's not already on the device. Updates are history going forward. So flash on mobile is a very limited engagement anyway.

Installed the .232 leak last night. Had trouble with upgrading media database for over six hours and had to remove battery to recover phone. ICS is working pretty well and I have a clock speed of 1.2. However I cannot get any alarm clock app to work properly. They all stop responding or don't play sound, music or vibrate when the time comes. Any suggestions? Yes, I did clear the cache--three times. I will probably redo the whole process (with 19 gigs of music removed) tomorrow night.

here is the hash for the 4shared file.
CRC32: B9FF48B8
MD5: F3C179E375E83B722787F0C93F910F45

Thanks! Another successful .232 upgrade accomplished! This was even easier than the initial .230 version. Great work SamuriHL, and great support dfib!

yu

Did that three times. Going to redo your script again tomorrow eve.

Try going to Menu>Manage Apps>All>Media Storage, do a Force Stop, then Clear data and reboot. It will rescan your entire media library, and should figure out where things like ringtones and music are properly located. Just a bit of warning, it will run in the background for 20 minutes or so to do all that, and use a bit of battery. I think what happened when you upgraded to ICS, is that it tried converting the old library settings to new ones, and it takes a while, and the battery pull interrupted that. This should clear out the old data and start afresh in an ICS friendly way.

I got to .905 on my own with the OTA. Does that affect anything? Do I still go through the same steps or do I skip anything?

You just need to get the 232 update, put it on your sdcard-ext, reboot into recovery, flash it, wipe the cache, and reboot and you're done. No need to use my script at this point considering you FXZ'd back to 902 and took the 905 update.
