More Froyo

Appreciate it, and I understand it gets a hold of the GPU and CPU, but how does the notable performance stand out? That's what I really wanted to know. Would it just make flash a lot less buggy and faster and stuff like that?
Thanks!

It should definitely run smoother. It obviously won't help if your on 3G and not getting great up/down speeds, but only Verizon and their 4G network can help with that.

Hi,

Can someone explain to me where to go to download this freaking flash and how to download it pls? All i see are links and more links.

lol you never talk to me on facebook anymore lmao

Here:
From your DROID (Chrome to phone is easiest way lol)
click this link..

Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

Then just download it. Install it, hit yes if it says it's going to replace your current one if you have any depending on what you're running.

Is anyone else having problems with apps disappearing from folders set on the screen?

I am. I keep putting items in and they keep disappearing. It's kind of like my socks in the washing machine.

I had this problem the other night as well. I posted in the blue energy theme forum because i thought that was what was causing it. I reflashed 2.2 and it seems to have fixed whatever issue it was.

Links in original post have been updated with DF.net hosting links, should be faster/better.

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but there's a new "default" bootanimation with Froyo and it looks pretty neat! Mount your /system partition and delete the default Droid eye from /system/media/bootanimation.zip

is there going to be an official 2.2 update? I'M too afraid to install this on my phone because I know NOTHING about HOW to do it.

Ahh, yeah that is the boot animation that was in the first Froyo leak. I agree it is much better than the damn red eye.

I get the message that I cannot delete the file. what am I doing wrong?

In Root Explorer (you have to use a file manager with SU access), make sure you change R/O (read only) to R/W (read/write).
