Motorola Droid Maintenance Release Prelude to Android 2.1

Anyone ask Verizon instead of constantly pointing fingers at Motorola? Verizon has to test it and send it out to everyone, Moto can't just flip a switch.

Do you really believe that asking Verizon will get you any legitimate information? Verizon reps are clueless until the last few hours as to when an update is going to be released. Besides we see all their memos and the last one said, "soon." What exactly soon means is anybody's guess.

I, for one, am excited about it. I didn't root and don't care to....(luck would have it brick my phone)....I am excited to see what 2.1 brings.

I am hoping we hear something this week....it has been over a week since the last statement and "soon" should be just about up....

Its been 1 month today since it was rumored to be released.

Not that it matters but just thought I would jab Motorola a little. Filled out
the survey on how their information could be improved on the topic of releasing 2.1

"You will get an answer on how this information can be improved... soon."

All I want is to be able to say that I have android 2.1 and have flash player and we need 2.1 to have flash. Ofcourse there's always the hope that we will get some mistery thing that will make the nexus one users think dam I wish I got a droid but insted I'm stuck with this pice of crap. Then hackers will hack our 2.1 for the N1 that would be funny. But that is just me hopeing who knows the droid still powns all other phones anyways but I would love to see the nexus users jaws drop for once.

Droid is great and until N1 comes out on something other than t-mobile you couldn't make me happier with it.

My apps are getting updates like crasy so I assume they are getting them redy fr 2.1 so we don't have another 2.0.1 incadent where te apps don't work. So I think we may see 2.1 like by the end of the week.
