Not quite sold on the Droid Bionic but want to stay motorola

I'll tell ya Egoo I'm in this for the long haul now. Doesn't look good for me right now though lol.

I won't be able to purchase a device until I know what the Targa has under the hood BUT I have declared I will purchase a phone this year even if it's not until Q4. No matter what I hear is coming out in 2012 I'm going to purchase a device that I will be really happy with...PERIOD : )

It's a slighly upgraded EVO. That phone was released in May (?) of 2010. It's like buying a Droid 2 LTE device now. Why would you do that? If it's impatience well then you deserve to be hit with buyers remorse.

I've been in this game a LOOONG time and I know what the HYpeBeast looks like : ) He will suck you in and make you do things you normally would not do. He will hypnotize you and screw up your judgement . Now look into my eyes Charles!!!! Snap out of it!!! Wake up!!!

CK you are right I need to ask if what I want is an evo. If in the end the evo is the phone I want then I should purchase that device. Though I will admit the hypebeast took me but now I am free to think for myself. My decision will be based on mine and mine alone. I am not one to get dragged alone by every new device that come along. I research and make a decision based on what I want. Now I will spend the next few hours taking a deep look into my decision and make sure that whatever i decide is best based on all the info I have before me.

I agree 100% Charles. Just know what you are getting into and if YOU are good with that go for it.

Some people don't really care about hardware and thats fine but I've known you long enough to know you really think about things like that. Good luck!!

Even if we fall prey to hypebeast, there is always ebay and craigslist :icon_ banana:, even if you get stuck on a 1 year, sell the phone, make up the difference to purchase a new one full price. Crazy as it seems..it might just work lol

I was going to get a TB just to lock down unlimited lte but i have decided against this. I use at most 2 gigs a month with heavy usage.... I would rather have awesome hardware then have unlimited which wouldnt matter. I would totally get the Targa if it is quad core. I am waiting.... The tb has its ups but im dedicated to the hardware. Just my .02. IMO, i agree Ck, im getting something this year regardless of whats coming around the corner. At some point, you have to get something and stop waiting....otherwise we will be waiting for quite some time.

After loading CM7 on my mom's phone, I really want a phone that doesn't have a locked bootloader, but I live Motorola build quality and the Targa looks like a Sexy X, especially if it ends up with a quad-core.

So what would be more important in the Bionics case, Ram or the processor?? Its obviously going to have a kick butt processor, but is 512mb of ram enough?? I mean, I dont remember in the past of ram being such a big part in a phone, its always been about the processor. Am I right?
