Got my update here (Wilmington, DE) a little after 10AM -- it was quick and painless. I do however, have a silly question -- I can no longer find the apps drawer. I have a new widget at the bottom of the screen for quick launch of the phone, browser and something else. Where am I obviously not looking?

When I press that button I get a preview of the 5 home screens, which do not show all of my apps....

Simple fix. Go to the market and download ADW Launcher. The app drawer is in the middle of the phone/browser buttons, which you can even customize into whatever two apps you prefer to have there.

My wife and I just got our phone lasts weekend. They're 2.1. Looks like we just need to wait for 2.2, correct? If not how do you manually install...?

Just setting up a replacement phone that I received on friday - and walaaaaa - the update showed up this morning - sunday - per verizon - it is going out in batches of 10,000 at a time - so should be receiving it soon.........
