****Official FroYo Rollout Thread-Version2!****

I do however, have a silly question -- I can no longer find the apps drawer. I have a new widget at the bottom of the screen for quick launch of the phone, browser and something else. Where am I obviously not looking?

Touch next to the phone icon
Thank you for responding so quickly!

When I press that button I get a preview of the 5 home screens, which do not show all of my apps....
Simple fix. Go to the market and download ADW Launcher. The app drawer is in the middle of the phone/browser buttons, which you can even customize into whatever two apps you prefer to have there.

Thanks to bwhite2006 and furbearinganimal -- I finally figured it out and got my apps back. Appreciate your patience! dancedroid

Glad it's working for you. :)

I got 2.2 today, but it didn't go so well. So, I posted to the Froyo issues thread. Locked up my phone... did anyone else have that problem?

Woke up to Froyo OTA this morning. Phone ran slow for about 10 minutes until everything resynced, but now running faster than ever.

That's pretty much what the majority of people are experiencing. Though looking at the Forum you might not think so.

I've been running 2.2 for a fee weeks now with no custom ROM. It runs great.

No update yet here in Colorado. Don't bother reminding us we "don't have 2 wait" because if its not from Verizon anyone reading nearly every single thread here can find someone's opinion or advice about rooting. Granted a lot of us admire the high performance massage, a majority of users I've read here, have had success with. I think a lot more of us stop reading when it says 2 hold down 2 buttons @ the exact same time 2 initiate recovery boot yada yada yada. Honestly I think its great what you and this forum have accomplished in regards 2 performance & freedom extended 2 us the users. I just wish I didn't feel so uncomfortable posting here because I'm not nor have any plans 2 root. Mine works brilliantly fast ( IMO ) and really, any issues I've had were my own fault and corrected by operating the device with in the Android OS. Until Version tries 2 make me use something that dose not work & I'm forced 2 fix my self ... well ( shudder 2 think ) I guess I'll have 2 find a new carrier. So inconclusion STILL waiting here in Colorado icon:patient

Perfectly valid point! We lose sight of the fact some simply prefer to remain bonestock, or have a need/desire to futz with their phones. Some may rely on the phone for business, so cannot afford to take risks for eye candy or tweaks by rooting. Please feel comfortable to post anytime. :)

I got my update today and have been trying to find out if the fact that i have my phone rooted with Buggless Beast should i not download the update?
I see some people are having issues with their phones being bricked.
Are there any steps i should take before i do the update? If i should accept the update at all?
