Reboot into recovery and clear cache that how I fix it... was driving me crazy.

i have found if you do a factory reset after you install a rom and then clear cache. then re install all you apps you be better off. It seem to fix all

TBH has released the upgraded bootloader in their new rom... Will rubix follow suit and update the older bootloader with the new bootloader, which will invalidate the 2.1 sbf file?

The TBH release is a modified leak, which upgrades the boot loader, etc.
rubiX Blurry and Focused are ROMs that just modify code in /system, to change how everything runs.

I'm confident that Focused framework will remain as is for the official released version of the bootloader/etc. It's not going to incorporate the leak stuff into it. It **might** work on the leaked version.. no clue. Honestly, the leak they're putting out still has issues (media, and ??)... I'd stay away. Hell, I'd stay away even after Moto releases whatever version the OTA is going to be. :S
IF you go to the TBH leak, it's possible you won't be able to get the OTA. If the OTA is set up to upgrade specifically from 2.3.15, then anyone who upgraded could be stuck on the leak version, until a .sbf for the newer version is leaked again...

Just know there are issues... and that Focused is the way it is for a reason.. drod isn't going to put anyone at risk..

agree what if verizon skip that up date and runs with another then your stuck and I ran droid2169 new blurry2.3.230 on 2.3.15 by mistake I thought he tweek the 2.3.15 and it work but it killed 3g and had to flash back focused i have both roms blurry and focused backup so I can run which one I am in the mood for.

This 2.3.320 leak is the OTA that Verizon will be releasing. I will be releasing a new blurry for the 2.3.15 users tonight as well

Was getting ready to install this Rom,but do you have two different ROM's coming out tonight or just one for the blurry?

Just wanted to ask before I install this one and then have to install a new update blur free Rom.

No this is for 2.3.15 he said he is releasing new blurry 2.3.15 tonight. He has already released a new blurry for 2.3.320 its in the forums and he is working on a new focused for both 2.3.15 - 2.3.320

Sorry for the repeat, but I've googled and forum searched and am not finding a fix so far. The issue is that USB/PC doesn't play nice, no charging or the computer even recognizing the device is attached. Hopefully there's a fix my search is just not turning up, but I'll details what I've done so far.

I rebooted to clockwork, wiped cache/data, installed 1.8.6. The first time I did a Titanium full dump. Then learned . . . "bad idea", so I wiped and reinstalled again. At that point, before restoring anything app/data-wise, connecting it to USB/PC started in Mass Storage mode. I tried changing it to Charge Mode and it said "no can do" basically and has not since been able to charge via computer or even notify that it's attached to a computer. Wall adapter charging is no problemo.

To troubleshoot I've:

• Downloaded latest moto drivers - v 4.71. They were already installed so I did a clean/reinstall. No change.
• Rebooted Windows. No change.
• Rebooted DX. No change.
• Killed USB process and unplugged/replugged. No change.
• Ran ROM Recovery "Fix Permissions", completed that and rebooted. No change.
• Unmount SD card, disconnect and reconnect the phone. No change.
• Trying re-loading 1.8.6 right now without a data/cache wipe and see what it gets me, but only sorta holding my breath.

Think that about covers it so far. Any other thoughts/fixes?

Mundo suggested a Factory Reset... (essentially a data/cache wipe as well as a few other stats, etc...)? Veigar is curious if it works too... ?

Edit: Only other thing I can think of, is .sbf. So I figured worth a shot... ? :S
Other computer(s) work at all, out of curiosity? Dunno if there's a way to confirm if it's phone or computer.

I really wish I could recreate this issue...

Interestingly, I uninstalled Winamp after noticing an oddity. "USB Mass Storage" mode popped up all of the sudden. I was like, oh snap, great! - Then it went through about 5 "connecting charge only" notifications, off, then on, then off, then on, etc. all on it's own . . . now it's back to the same behavior of no USB options/recognition even after a reboot.

Debating doing an SBF of 2.2, which is the only thing I didn't do so far, but ugh . . .

Forgive my noobness, but when you say Factory Reset, is that an SBF or . . .? I've done the "wipe data/factory reset" in clockwork at least twice with no change.

Edit to your edit: will try laptop, but don't think it's the computer/cable (who knows though eh?)

Did you clear your cache ? in revovery

Nope, will try that next. No change on laptop by the way. Different machine/cable/updated moto drivers.
