Guy on the Moto forum posted he flashed 893 kernel and radio.didnt notice a difference with3g 4g data said cammera was 100% and phone was snappier. Did anyone notice the signal deal was fixed when they flashed it. Im in a crap area no sig affraid to flash anything.

I'm applying the. 893 update now (went back to my stock backup w/root and did the permaroot), would it be stupid of me to reinstall my backup of 2.0 or should I just do a clean install?

Update: went ahead and did the restore of 2.0 after the update, haven't noticed any negative effects. Now to give the update a day or two to see if there are any improvements.

Is it possible to just apply the perma root and not the radio/kernal... Can the perma root be reversed? Think id rather wait on the final fix as integrated in an attempt to stay on path.

You can apply the perma root without all the other stuff. I used the root explorer process and RE made a .bak (backup) of the file you are editting. If you ever wanted to get rid of perma root, just delete the new .sh file, delete .bak off of the original and you're good to go.

Real ota coming real soon if not already here. My nieces bionic just asked if she wanted to update now. But my moms bionic in the same house did not.

Any chance you can pull that ota off of there before she does the update? That way we can take a look at it to see if it is different than what is floating around. Or, if she already did the update, can you give us the info in her about phone section for the build#, kernel, radio?

She did not do the update and her phone is not rooted. I am not sure where the ota downloaded (if it did) our how to get to it on a unrooted phone. Never was good at PC to Droid communication. If she does up date I will get the info from her phone.

I would guess the ones we are ousting would be the ota released as its the only ones any one had seen working our tested at this point.

There is a small bug in the 3XP3RI3NC3 add on. If you go into the dialer and into the recent calls and click on the persons name, the Call details screen text (Call xxxxxxx, email and View contact text) is black on black. The text needs to be changed to white. Anyone else see what I'm talking about?

Grrrrrr I'm gonna take a quick nap then get back on this 2.1. The ui looks awesome just two our there links I can't find. Like the damn text color for recent calls.

Yes, and the dev is aware and working on it as we speak. He posted this yesterday. It's a few pages back.
