I just installed 1.3 and its my first custom rom and I really like it. The only problem im having though is I used to use jrummy's app to overclock. Now it wont work and just reboots and im not sure if its because of the rom ir new ota update? Anyone know?

You might want to check to see if there's a pending update (mine's 1.9.9).

Other solutions have been:

- clear data (in settings/application)
- uninstall/reinstall the app

its not because of the rom or ota, sounds like an installation problem or you might be setting your overclock too high (which would cause a reboot).

i'm using 1.3 on the .34ota and i have no problems using jrummy's app

Just installed the Overclock scripts.. gona take some getting used to all of these after the inital four of Apex 1.2 ... im hoping restarting the phones sets everything back to stock

edit: apparently my OC didnt even take.. it edited the maximum amount available but its still running at 998.84

yea .. just tried another and my phone started vibrating in terminal until it rebooted.. a tutorial on this or something would be nice from anyone that knows how to do it

Also Fab I installed the Nexus wallpaper but it got rid of the stock Nexus that was insanely customizable.. any way to get that one back?

hey Fab, this is a a great rom been running it since i bought my X last week. I am having a problem though, i am getting random reboots like 1-4 times a day. It happens pretty randomly, like downloading a file from the internet, pushing power button to turn off display, and doing other random things. Happens mostly when the display turns off after i do something with it. Any idea how to fix this? flashed to your rom after updating from the .340 ota verizon update.

Fab - thanks for adding the overclock stuff back. I was using Jrummy and see that he was in some way connected to this addition. But this gives me the ability to write my own setscaling scripts and then I just execute them with gscript. so anyways - very cool. thanks to you and Rummy.

dont think so, i rooted and flashed the phone right after i bought it last week. updated to the .340 ota verizon update, did the root guide from Motorola Droid X Root Guide Updated 4 pm eastern time 11/10/10 - Android Forums then flashed to apex 1.3.0. unless doing something from my guide overclocked my phone

Hey fab first off i just want to thank you for this rom it is awesome...now i have a question i use Handcent sms and when i get a notification from handcent there is a little red notification bubble with howmany unread texts i have. it covers the whole notification pretty much and its kind of annoying for me...is there a fix for this? ANyone notice an issue with linked contacts from Facebook. Looks like you have to unlink them to be able to send a facebook message to someone from their contact info.

Anyone one else having this prob?

You could try a reinstall. Don't wipe data or cache and then you won't lose all your apps - I think that is how it works - some one jump in and help a brotha out.

If that doesn't do it then I would try a reinstall - wipe data - wipe cache. My phone had never rebooted on me - ever. So I don't think it is just Apex.

I love the look, and feel of this ROM. My ONLY complaint is with the text messaging and facebook syncing. Maybe im missing something, so please direct me to the proper fix if i am. But is there a way to sync only my facebook profile pics with contacts, and not add in other facebook contacts to that were not previously there? Please help, I dont wanna switch ROMs just for this. Thanks in advance
